2 ULB “আমি পৃথিবীর বুক থেকে সব কিছুই ধ্বংস করে দেব! সদাপ্রভু এই ঘোষণা করেন৷ BSB BSB: “I will completely sweep away everything from the face of the earth,” declares the LORD.
3 ULB আমি মানুষ ও পশু ধ্বংস করব, আমি আকাশের পাখী ও সমুদ্রের মাছ ধ্বংস করব, তার সঙ্গে পাপীদেরও ধ্বংস করব৷ কারণ আমি পৃথিবীর বুক থেকে মানুষকে উচ্ছিন্ন করব!” এটা সদাপ্রভুর ঘোষণা৷ BSB BSB: “I will sweep away man and beast; I will sweep away the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, and the idols with their wicked worshipers. 8 ULB সদাপ্রভুর বলিদানের দিনে এমন হবে যে, আমি শাসনকর্তাদের ও রাজার ছেলেদের এবং প্রত্যেককে যারা বিদেশী কাপড় পরে আছে তাদেরকে শাস্তি দেব৷ BSB BSB: “On the Day of the LORD’s sacrifice I will punish the princes, the sons of the king, and all who are dressed in foreign apparel.
9 ULB সেই দিন আমি তাদের শাস্তি দেব যারা লাফ দিয়ে দরজার চৌকাট পার হয় এবং তাদের যারা হিংস্রতা ও ছলনা দিয়ে প্রভুর ঘর পূর্ণ করে৷” BSB BSB: On that day I will punish all who leap over the threshold, who fill the house of their master with violence and deceit.

13 ULB তাদের সম্পত্তি লুট করা হবে এবং তাদের বাড়ি ধ্বংস হবে৷ তারা বাড়ি তৈরী করবে কিন্তু তাতে বাস করবে না; তারা আংগুর ক্ষেত করবে কিন্তু আংগুরের রস খেতে পাবে না৷ BSB BSB: Their wealth will be plundered and their houses laid waste. They will build houses but not inhabit them, and plant vineyards but never drink their wine.
14 ULB সদাপ্রভুর সেই মহান দিন কাছে আসছে, কাছে আসছে এবং খুব তাড়াতাড়িই আসছে৷ একজন যোদ্ধা যেমন যন্ত্রণায় চিৎকার করে, সদাপ্রভুর সেই দিনের শব্দও ঠিক সেই রকম৷ BSB BSB: The great Day of the LORD is near—near and coming quickly. Listen, the Day of the LORD! Then the cry of the mighty will be bitter.
15 ULB সেই দিনটা হবে ক্রোধের দিন, দারুণ দুর্দশা ও হতাশার দিন, বিপর্যয়ের ও ধ্বংসের দিন, গাঢ় অন্ধকারের দিন, মেঘ ও ঘন কালো দিন৷ BSB BSB: That day will be a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of destruction and desolation, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness,
16 ULB সেই দিনটা হবে, সমস্ত দেয়াল ঘেরা শহরের ও উঁচু দুর্গের বিরুদ্ধে সিঙ্গা বাজানোর ও সতর্ক করার দিন৷ BSB BSB: a day of horn blast and battle cry against the fortified cities, and against the high corner towers.
17 ULB কারণ আমি লোকদের উপর দারুণ কষ্ট আনবো যার জন্য তারা অন্ধ লোকদের মত হাঁটবে, কারণ সদাপ্রভুর বিরুদ্ধে তারা পাপ করেছে৷ তাদের রক্ত ধূলোর মত ঢেলে দেওয়া হবে ও তাদের দেহ গোবরের মত হবে৷ BSB BSB: I will bring such distress on mankind that they will walk like the blind, because they have sinned against the LORD. Their blood will be poured out like dust and their flesh like dung.
18 ULB সদাপ্রভুর ক্রোধের দিনে তাদের রূপা কিংবা সোনা তাদের রক্ষা করতে পারবে না! সদাপ্রভুর ক্রোধের আগুন সমস্ত দেশকে গ্রাস করবে, কারণ যে ধ্বংস তিনি পৃথিবীতে বাসকারী সমস্ত লোকের উপরে আনবেন তা ভয়ঙ্কর হবে৷” BSB BSB: Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to deliver them on the Day of the LORD’s wrath. The whole earth will be consumed by the fire of His jealousy.” For indeed, He will make a sudden end of all who dwell on the earth.
