6 Brenton For the Lord is high, and yet regards the lowly; and he knows high things from afar off. BSB BSB: Though the LORD is on high, He attends to the lowly; but the proud He knows from afar.
7 Brenton Though I should walk in the midst of affliction, thou wilt quicken me; thou hast stretched forth thine hands against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand has saved me. BSB BSB: If I walk in the midst of trouble, You preserve me from the anger of my foes; You extend Your hand, and Your right hand saves me.
8 Brenton O Lord, thou shalt recompense them on my behalf: thy mercy, O Lord, endures for ever: overlook not the works of thine hands. BSB BSB: The LORD will fulfill His purpose for me. O LORD, Your loving devotion endures forever—do not abandon the works of Your hands.
