3 Brenton The Lord is great, and greatly to be praised; and there is no end of his greatness. BSB BSB: Great is the LORD and greatly to be praised; His greatness is unsearchable.
4 Brenton Generation after generation shall praise thy works, and tell of thy power. BSB BSB: One generation will commend Your works to the next, and will proclaim Your mighty acts—
5 Brenton And they shall speak of the glorious majesty of thy holiness, and recount thy wonders. BSB BSB: the glorious splendor of Your majesty. And I will meditate on Your wondrous works.
6 Brenton And they shall speak of the power of thy terrible acts ; and recount thy greatness. BSB BSB: They will proclaim the power of Your awesome deeds, and I will declare Your greatness.
7 Brenton They shall utter the memory of the abundance of thy goodness, and shall exult in thy righteousness. BSB BSB: They will extol the fame of Your abundant goodness and sing joyfully of Your righteousness.
8 Brenton The Lord is compassionate, and merciful; long-suffering, and abundant in mercy. BSB BSB: The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in loving devotion.
9 Brenton The Lord is good to those that wait on him ; and his compassions are over all his works. BSB BSB: The LORD is good to all; His compassion rests on all He has made.
10 Brenton Let all thy works, O Lord, give thanks to thee; and let thy saints bless thee. BSB BSB: All You have made will give You thanks, O LORD, and Your saints will bless You.
11 Brenton They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy dominion; BSB BSB: They will tell of the glory of Your kingdom and speak of Your might,
12 Brenton to make known to the sons of men thy power, and the glorious majesty of thy kingdom. BSB BSB: to make known to men Your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of Your kingdom.
13 Brenton Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endures through all generations. BSB BSB: Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD is faithful in all His words and kind in all His actions.
14 Brenton The Lord is faithful in his words, and holy in all his works. The Lord supports all that are falling, and sets up all that are broken down. BSB BSB: The LORD upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down.
15 Brenton The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their food in due season. BSB BSB: The eyes of all look to You, and You give them their food in season.
16 Brenton Thou openest thine hands, and fillest every living thing with pleasure. BSB BSB: You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.
17 Brenton The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. BSB BSB: The LORD is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His deeds.
18 Brenton The Lord is near to all that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. BSB BSB: The LORD is near to all who call on Him, to all who call out to Him in truth.
19 Brenton He will perform the desire of them that fear him: and he will hear their supplication, and save them. BSB BSB: He fulfills the desires of those who fear Him; He hears their cry and saves them.
20 Brenton The Lord preserves all that love him: but all sinners he will utterly destroy. BSB BSB: The LORD preserves all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy.
21 Brenton My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever. BSB BSB: My mouth will declare the praise of the LORD; let every creature bless His holy name forever and ever.
