4. 3BSBNo Ammonite or Moabite or any of their descendants may enter the assembly of the LORD, even to the tenth generation.KJVKJV: An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of the LORD for ever:
5. 4BSBFor they did not meet you with food and water on your way out of Egypt, and they hired Balaam son of Beor from Pethor in Aram-naharaim to curse you.KJVKJV: Because they met you not with bread and with water in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt; and because they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor of Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee.
6. 5BSBYet the LORD your God would not listen to Balaam, and the LORD your God turned the curse into a blessing for you, because the LORD your God loves you.KJVKJV: Nevertheless the LORD thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the LORD thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the LORD thy God loved thee.
7. 6BSBYou are not to seek peace or prosperity from them as long as you live.KJVKJV: Thou shalt not seek their peace nor their prosperity all thy days for ever.
8. 7BSBDo not despise an Edomite, for he is your brother. Do not despise an Egyptian, because you lived as a foreigner in his land.KJVKJV: Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he is thy brother: thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian; because thou wast a stranger in his land.

12. 10BSBIf any man among you becomes unclean because of a nocturnal emission, he must leave the camp and stay outside.KJVKJV: If there be among you any man, that is not clean by reason of uncleanness that chanceth him by night, then shall he go abroad out of the camp, he shall not come within the camp:
13. 11BSBWhen evening approaches, he must wash with water, and when the sun sets he may return to the camp.KJVKJV: But it shall be, when evening cometh on, he shall wash himself with water: and when the sun is down, he shall come into the camp again.

15. 13BSBAnd you must have a digging tool in your equipment so that when you relieve yourself you can dig a hole and cover up your excrement.KJVKJV: And thou shalt have a paddle upon thy weapon; and it shall be, when thou wilt ease thyself abroad, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which cometh from thee:
16. 14BSBFor the LORD your God walks throughout your camp to protect you and deliver your enemies to you. Your camp must be holy, lest He see anything unclean among you and turn away from you.KJVKJV: For the LORD thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.

20. 17BSBNo daughter or son of Israel is to be a shrine prostitute.KJVKJV: There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.
21. 18BSBYou must not bring the wages of a prostitute, whether female or male, into the house of the LORD your God to fulfill any vow, because both are detestable to the LORD your God.KJVKJV: Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto the LORD thy God.
22. 19BSBDo not charge your brother interest on money, food, or any other type of loan.KJVKJV: Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury:
