22. 19BSBAnd he is to put the woman under oath and say to her, ‘If no other man has slept with you and you have not gone astray and become defiled while under your husband’s authority, may you be immune to this bitter water that brings a curse.KJVKJV: And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of thy husband, be thou free from this bitter water that causeth the curse:
23. 20BSBBut if you have gone astray while under your husband’s authority and have defiled yourself and lain carnally with a man other than your husband’—KJVKJV: But if thou hast gone aside to another instead of thy husband, and if thou be defiled, and some man have lain with thee beside thine husband:

25. 22BSBMay this water that brings a curse enter your stomach and cause your belly to swell and your thigh to shrivel.’ Then the woman is to say, ‘Amen, Amen.’KJVKJV: And this water that causeth the curse shall go into thy bowels, to make thy belly to swell, and thy thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, Amen, amen.
26. 23BSBAnd the priest shall write these curses on a scroll and wash them off into the bitter water.KJVKJV: And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot them out with the bitter water:
27. 24BSBHe is to have the woman drink the bitter water that brings a curse, and it will enter her and may cause her bitter suffering.KJVKJV: And he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that causeth the curse: and the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter.
28. 25BSBThe priest shall take from her hand the grain offering for jealousy, wave it before the LORD, and bring it to the altar.KJVKJV: Then the priest shall take the jealousy offering out of the woman’s hand, and shall wave the offering before the LORD, and offer it upon the altar:
29. 26BSBThen the priest is to take a handful of the grain offering as a memorial portion and burn it on the altar; after that he is to have the woman drink the water.KJVKJV: And the priest shall take an handful of the offering, even the memorial thereof, and burn it upon the altar, and afterward shall cause the woman to drink the water.
30. 27BSBWhen he has made her drink the water, if she has defiled herself and been unfaithful to her husband, then the water that brings a curse will enter her and cause bitter suffering; her belly will swell, her thigh will shrivel, and she will become accursed among her people.KJVKJV: And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people.
31. 28BSBBut if the woman has not defiled herself and is clean, she will be unaffected and able to conceive children.KJVKJV: And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed.

33. 30BSBor when a feeling of jealousy comes over a husband and he suspects his wife. He is to have the woman stand before the LORD, and the priest is to apply to her this entire law.KJVKJV: Or when the spirit of jealousy cometh upon him, and he be jealous over his wife, and shall set the woman before the LORD, and the priest shall execute upon her all this law.
