1. Come Quickly to Me

   (Psalm 70:1–5)

2. 1BSBA Psalm of David. I call upon You, O LORD; come quickly to me. Hear my voice when I call to You.KJVKJV: A Psalm of David. LORD, I cry unto thee: make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto thee.
3. 2BSBMay my prayer be set before You like incense; my uplifted hands, like the evening offering.KJVKJV: Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
4. 3BSBSet a guard, O LORD, over my mouth; keep watch at the door of my lips.KJVKJV: Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.
5. 4BSBDo not let my heart be drawn to any evil thing or take part in works of wickedness with men who do iniquity; let me not feast on their delicacies.KJVKJV: Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practise wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.
6. 5BSBLet the righteous man strike me; let his rebuke be an act of loving devotion. It is oil for my head; let me not refuse it. For my prayer is ever against the deeds of the wicked.KJVKJV: Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities.
7. 6BSBWhen their rulers are thrown down from the cliffs, the people will listen to my words, for they are pleasant.KJVKJV: When their judges are overthrown in stony places, they shall hear my words; for they are sweet.
8. 7BSBAs when one plows and breaks up the soil, so our bones have been scattered at the mouth of Sheol.KJVKJV: Our bones are scattered at the grave’s mouth, as when one cutteth and cleaveth wood upon the earth.
9. 8BSBBut my eyes are fixed on You, O GOD the Lord. In You I seek refuge; do not leave my soul defenseless.KJVKJV: But mine eyes are unto thee, O GOD the Lord: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute.
10. 9BSBKeep me from the snares they have laid for me, and from the lures of evildoers.KJVKJV: Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity.
11. 10BSBLet the wicked fall into their own nets, while I pass by in safety.KJVKJV: Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape.
