1. 1BSWEየሱሳ ኡሱኮ ኦአጋልሳታራነ ሃ አመ፥ “እባዶ ካሀንዱፍስራ ሀኤመኖኒ ላኮሄስናሮ። አየሱን ጎአመን ሀንዱዱፎ ካላሮን ሀሱ እባዶትን ኣኔ።BSBBSB: Jesus said to His disciples, “It is inevitable that stumbling blocks will come, but woe to the one through whom they come!
2. 2BSWEሂክ እባዶት ሂናኣ ኦትዲጫርኮ ኮ ካሀንዱዱፍሳሮኮ፥ ሪም ካባዳላ ማርግቴሳ ሻምጉረ በከ ኦሮ ባዲ ጎሻፋመ ሆረ ላረ።BSBBSB: It would be better for him to have a millstone hung around his neck and to be thrown into the sea than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.
3. 3BSWEሃንሱን እስኦትስን ኦራዬን። “አቢካ ኩ ጎሚረኤ ሀድስ፥ አን ባሰራ አም ጎጉላ ጋለ ሀሄሶ አምና።BSBBSB: Watch yourselves. If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.
4. 4BSWEአሪ ቶይ ቶዶባ ጋል ኩ ሚርኢጉረ ቶዶባ ጋል ‘አን ኩ ሚረኤራ’ አማ ኩ ቶስ ጎኤመተ ኡሱን ሀሄሶ አም።”BSBBSB: Even if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times returns to say, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.”
5. 5BSWEኦፋራመራና ጎታነ፥ “አማኖካን ኖን አድና” አመን።BSBBSB: The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!”
6. 6BSWEጎታና፥ “እል ታስናፍጭ ግታክ አማኖ እስኑን ግረዋ፥ ህታ ኦዳ፥ ‘ታጋምጉደ በከ ኦሮ አባራምና’ ጎአንቴን እስኑን አጃጃንቶዋ” አመ።BSBBSB: And the Lord answered, “If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.
7. 7BSWEአደና የሱሳ ሃ አመ፥ “እስን ኦሮኮ እባዶት ኮ እራ ካኦታሮ ጎርቱን እዳድ ካፎፋሮ ሌ ካሀንዳሮ ካአቦ ጎሌ፥ ኡሱ ኢራኮ ካጋማተሮ ካሀንዳሮክነ፥ ‘ሳም ባቦ ቶስ ጋባላም አማታን’?BSBBSB: Which of you whose servant comes in from plowing or shepherding in the field will say to him, ‘Come at once and sit down to eat’?
8. 8BSWEሂካኮ ሱረ፥ ‘ካሄመነ ክታ ካኬ አን ጎጎአምሮ ኤካስና፥ አን ታ አምሮና ታ ጣምሮ ሞዋጉደ ኢን ሀንዳይ፥ ኤሰኮ አባባይደ አት አምናታ፥ ጣምናታ ላኮአማሮያ’?BSBBSB: Instead, won’t he tell him, ‘Prepare my meal and dress yourself to serve me while I eat and drink, and afterward you may eat and drink’?
9. 9BSWEጎርታ ሂክ እባዶት፥ ካሀንዳረክ ኡሱን ካአጃጃመሮ ማንኮፈለ አባበ ማራን ኡሱ ጋላታራ?BSBBSB: Does he thank the servant because he did what he was told?
10. 10BSWEሃንሱን እስና ሂካማሌ ካአጃጃንተታን ዱባ ካኮፈልቴን ጎራታ፥ ‘ኖ ላኦ ካላይኒዕ ኦሀንዳኖና፥ ፈላሚን ካዶትሳሮና ፈልነ ጉድንሰና አማ።’ ”BSBBSB: So you also, when you have done everything commanded of you, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’”
11. 11BSWEኤሰኮ አባባተረ የሱሳ ኢየሩሳለም ቶስ ሴታ ግራን ምና ታሰማርያነና ታጋሊላ ማማንኮክ ሜሳነ ሮረ።BSBBSB: While Jesus was on His way to Jerusalem, He was passing between Samaria and Galilee.
12. 12BSWEማማን ኮ ቶስ ጎጎታቤ ማሪ ባር ኦአባናየን እባዶጃ ቶሞኖ የሱሳነ ዎታ ኤሰለ፥ እሶና ኤባ አሌረን፤BSBBSB: As He entered one of the villages, He was met by ten lepers. They stood at a distance
13. 13BSWEታአቲ ያየ፥ “ጎታ የሱሳ፥ ኖን ነኔኤይሳ!” አመን።BSBBSB: and raised their voices, shouting, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”
14. 14BSWEኡሱና እሶ ካኮደያረ ጎራታ፥ “ሰዬንዴን እስኦትስን ቱቃሞሉን ቱሳዬን” አመ። እሶና ኤሰራ ሴቶ ጉት ግራን ሙጭሜን።BSBBSB: When Jesus saw them, He said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they were on their way, they were cleansed.
15. 15BSWEእሶኮና ኮ ፋያኖኬሳ ካኮደያታረ ጎራታ ያየ ጦቂ ታአንቴ ዋ ካባጃ አባባተ።BSBBSB: When one of them saw that he was healed, he came back, praising God in a loud voice.
16. 16BSWEሉክ ታየሱሳ ጉት ሆረ ሆረ ኢየጉረ ጋላቴ፥ ሂክ እባዶትና ሳማራውትየ።BSBBSB: He fell facedown at Jesus’ feet in thanksgiving to Him—and he was a Samaritan.
17. 17BSWEየሱሳና ሃ አመ ኡሱ ሆሳተ፤ “ካሙጭመረ እባዶ ላቶሞንየላ? ሀያ፥ ሳጋሎ ሀጌ ሴተ?BSBBSB: “Were not all ten cleansed?” Jesus asked. “Where then are the other nine?
18. 18BSWEሂካ ካሳማራው አላጋት ኳሬ አባባተረን ዋ ካጋላታራ ካካለ ላኮግሮ አማኖያ?”BSBBSB: Was no one found except this foreigner to return and give glory to God?”
19. 19BSWEእባዶትነና፥ “ኪጉደ ጋል፥ አማኖካ ኩ ፋይሰራ” አመ።BSBBSB: Then Jesus said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well!”
20. 20BSWEፋራሳውልኮክ እባዶ ዎኖናት ካዋ ጎረ ኤሜይናሮ የሱሳ ካኮሆሳታሬን ጎራታ ሃ አመ እሶን አባበ፥ “ዎኖናት ካዋ ካሙታሮ ራድ ላኮኤሜታሮ።BSBBSB: When asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The kingdom of God will not come with observable signs.
21. 21BSWEእባዶና፥ ‘ህታኒያ’ ጎርቱን ‘ኣንቲያ’ አምን ላኮዳንዴሮ፥ ሂክማ፥ ዎኖናት ካዋ እስኒ ኦሮ ግራ።”BSBBSB: Nor will people say, ‘Look, here it is,’ or ‘There it is.’ For you see, the kingdom of God is in your midst.”
22. 22BSWEየሱሳ ኡሱኮ ኦአጋልሳታራነ ሃ አመ፥ “ኤረ ካእባዶ ካኮኤመይናሮ አርጆልኮ ቶ ድን ካኮሀልችናታን ጎራታ ኤመይናራ። አድና ላኮድናታን።BSBBSB: Then He said to the disciples, “The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it.
23. 23BSWEእባዶ፥ ‘ኣንቲያ’ ጎርቱን ‘ህታኒያ’ አምናራ፥ ደቤና አሮሴቴን።BSBBSB: People will tell you, ‘Look, there He is!’ or ‘Look, here He is!’ Do not go out or chase after them.
24. 24BSWEኣላንቲና ሀንቃ ሀንቃየጉረ ዳሩር ቃማኮ ታ ጣሞ ጌሮ ጎጎሀንቃይሳሮ ማለ፥ ኤረ ካእባዶና ታኮኤመታሮ አሪ ኡሱማሌ ልናታ።BSBBSB: For just as the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other, so will be the Son of Man in His day.
25. 25BSWEአየሱን ጎአመን ሂክ ላናኮ ሆረነ ኤረ ካእባዶ ካንጂን አቦሳማኖና ህታ አላታኒ ቱፋማኖ ግናራ።BSBBSB: But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.
26. 26BSWE“ካኖሄ ጌሲ ጎጎሌሮክ ማለ፥ ኤረ ካእባዶ ታኮኤመይናሮ አሪ ኡሱማሌ ልናራ።BSBBSB: Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man:
27. 27BSWEኖሄ ማርካፋ ታኮታበሮ አሪ ታጌሮ እባዶ አማና ጣማ፥ ኦር አታታና ኬሳታ ግረ። ኦባሳራን በከ ኤመተንጉረን ዱባና ባሰን።BSBBSB: People were eating and drinking, marrying and being given in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.
28. 28BSWE“ካሎጠ ጌስና ኡሱማሌየ፥ እባዶ አማና ጣማ፥ ኢምናታና ዳዳላታ፥ አካክልተ አባራታና ምን ማዳራታ ግረ።BSBBSB: It was the same in the days of Lot: People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building.
29. 29BSWEሎጠ ሶዶምኮ ታኮቤረ አሪ ጎአመን ኤሌና ካጉባራ ቦላልና ዳሩርኮ ኡባተረ እሶ ዱባ ጉብተ ባሰ።BSBBSB: But on the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.
30. 30BSWE“ኤረ ካእባዶ ታኮኤሜታሮ አሪና ኡሱማሌ ልናራ።BSBBSB: It will be just like that on the day the Son of Man is revealed.
31. 31BSWEሀሴ አሪ ምንኬሳት ሄልንቾ ጉት ካግራ እባዶ ማዮና ምንኬሳ ኦሮ ኦግራን ኡራዎ አታይን አሮዳጎ። ኡሱማለና እራ ካግራ እባዶና ሃርዲ አሮአባባኖ።BSBBSB: On that day, let no one on the housetop come down to retrieve his possessions. Likewise, let no one in the field return for anything he has left behind.
32. 32BSWEታሎጠ ኦር ሻዳ።BSBBSB: Remember Lot’s wife!
33. 33BSWEኔፎቴሳ ሃሳይን ካዶታታራ ዱባ ዋታራ፤ ኔፎቴሳ ሮርሳተ ካስሳታራ ጎአመን ሃሳታራ።BSBBSB: Whoever tries to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will preserve it.
34. 34BSWEሀሴ ሄመኒ እባዶ ላማ አልጋ ቶይ ሁዱርናራን፥ ኮ አታምናራ፥ ኮ ሄስናራ።BSBBSB: I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed: one will be taken and the other left.
35. 35BSWEሄለል ላማ ራቶ ርታይናራን፥ ቶ አታምናታ ቶና ሄስናታ።”BSBBSB: Two women will be grinding grain together: one will be taken and the other left.”
36. 36BSWEእባዶ ላማ እራ ግርናራን፥ ኮ አታምናራ ኮ ሄስናራ።BSBBSB: Not in the BSB

37. 37BSWEእሶና አባበሬን፥ “ጎታ፥ ኦአታማራን ሀገራያ?” አመን። ኡሱና፥ “ራቃ ማንኮግሮ አላትል ኩኩአማራ አመ።”BSBBSB: “Where, Lord?” they asked. Jesus answered, “Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.”
