Should I come to Him with burnt offerings, with year-old calves?
7. 7CEBOCBMalipay kaha ang Ginoo kon halaran ko siya ug linibo ka mga karnero ug daghan kaayong lana sa olibo? Ihalad ko ba kaniya ang akong kamagulangang anak isip bayad sa akong mga sala?BSBBSB: Would the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I present my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?

14. 14CEBOCBTinuod nga makakaon kamo, apan dili kamo mabusog; kanunay gihapon kamong gutomon. Magtipig kamo ug mga abot, apan dili ninyo kini mapuslan, kay ipakuha ko kini sa inyong mga kaaway panahon sa gira.BSBBSB: You will eat but not be satisfied, and your hunger will remain with you. What you acquire, you will not preserve; and what you save, I will give to the sword.
15. 15CEBOCBMagpugas kamo, apan dili kamo ang mag-ani niini. Magpuga kamo ug mga olibo, apan dili kamo ang makapahimulos sa lana niini. Magpuga kamo ug mga ubas, apan dili kamo ang moinom sa bino niini.BSBBSB: You will sow but not reap; you will press olives but not anoint yourselves with oil; you will tread grapes but not drink the wine.
16. 16CEBOCBMahitabo kini kaninyo tungod kay gisunod ninyo ang daotang mga binuhatan, mga tulomanon, ug mga tambag ni Haring Omri ug sa panimalay ni Haring Ahab. Busa laglagon ko kamo, ug biay-biayon kamo ug bugal-bugalan sa ubang mga nasod.”BSBBSB: You have kept the statutes of Omri and all the practices of Ahab’s house; you have followed their counsel. Therefore I will make you a desolation, and your inhabitants an object of contempt; you will bear the scorn of the nations.”
