3. 4CEBOCBUg mao kini ang giingon sa Ginoo nga Makagagahom kang Zacarias:BSBBSB: Then the word of the LORD of Hosts came to me, saying,
4. 5CEBOCB“Sultihi ang tanang katawhan sa Israel apil ang mga pari, nga ang ilang pagpuasa ug pagsubo sa matag ikalima ug ikapitong bulan sulod sa 70 ka tuig wala nila himoa alang kanako.BSBBSB: “Ask all the people of the land and the priests, ‘When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh months for these seventy years, was it really for Me that you fasted?
5. 6CEBOCBUg kon mokaon sila ug moinom, gihimo lang nila kini alang sa ilang kaugalingon nga kalipay.BSBBSB: And when you were eating and drinking, were you not doing so simply for yourselves?
6. 7CEBOCBMao usab kini ang mensahe nga gipasulti ko sa mga propeta kaniadto, sa panahon nga nagmauswagon pa ang Jerusalem ug daghan pa kinig tawo apil ang mga lungsod sa palibot niini, ang Negev, ug ang kabungtoran sa kasadpan.”BSBBSB: Are these not the words that the LORD proclaimed through the earlier prophets, when Jerusalem and its surrounding towns were populous and prosperous, and the Negev and the foothills were inhabited?’”
7. 8CEBOCBMiingon pag-usab ang Ginoo nga Makagagahom ngadto kang Zacarias, “Mao kini ang akong giingon sa akong mga katawhan, ‘Paghukom kamo ug matarong. Ipakita ninyo ang kaayo ug kaluoy ngadto sa usag usa.BSBBSB: Then the word of the LORD came to Zechariah, saying,
8. 10CEBOCBAyaw ninyo daog-daoga ang mga biyuda, mga ilo, mga langyaw, ug ang mga kabos. Ayaw kamo paghuna-huna ug daotan batok sa usag usa.’BSBBSB: Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor. And do not plot evil in your hearts against one another.’
9. 11CEBOCB“Apan wala gayod sila magtagad sa akong giingon. Nagmagahi sila ug wala sila mamati.BSBBSB: But they refused to pay attention and turned a stubborn shoulder; they stopped up their ears from hearing.
10. 12CEBOCBGipagahi nila ang ilang mga kasing-kasing sama sa bato, ug wala sila mamati sa Kasugoan ug sa mga pulong nga gipasugilon sa akong Espiritu pinaagi sa mga propeta kaniadto. Busa ako, ang Ginoo nga Makagagahom, nasuko gayod pag-ayo.BSBBSB: They made their hearts like flint and would not listen to the law or to the words that the LORD of Hosts had sent by His Spirit through the earlier prophets. Therefore great anger came from the LORD of Hosts.
11. 13CEBOCBUg tungod kay wala sila mamati sa akong giingon, dili usab ako mamati kon manawag sila kanako.BSBBSB: And just as I had called and they would not listen, so when they called I would not listen, says the LORD of Hosts.
12. 14CEBOCBSama ako sa alimpulos nga mipatibulaag kanila ngadto sa mga dapit nga wala sila masuhito. Gibiyaan nila ang ilang maayong dapit, ug nahimo kining awaaw.”BSBBSB: But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations that they had not known, and the land was left desolate behind them so that no one could come or go. Thus they turned the pleasant land into a desolation.”
