Matthew 9Matthew9

Czech New Testament for the RoadBerean Standard Bible

1. 1SNCJežíš tedy vstoupil opět do člunu, vrátil se na druhý břeh a přišel do Kafarnaum.BSBBSB: Jesus got into a boat, crossed over, and came to His own town.
Tvé hříchy jsou ti odpuštěny!“BSBBSB: Just then some men brought to Him a paralytic lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Take courage, son; your sins are forgiven.”
Na to má právo jen Bůh.“BSBBSB: On seeing this, some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man is blaspheming!”
Dokážu vám, že moje slovo má moc.“ Nato se obrátil k ochrnutému: „Vstaň a odnes svá nosítka domů!“BSBBSB: But Jesus knew what they were thinking and said, “Why do you harbor evil in your hearts?
5. 8SNCLidé nad tím žasli a děkovali Bohu, že dal člověku takovou moc.BSBBSB: When the crowds saw this, they were filled with awe and glorified God, who had given such authority to men.
6. 9SNCCestou odtud uviděl Ježíš muže jménem Matouš, jak vybírá poplatky. „Pojď se mnou a staň se mým učedníkem!“ vyzval ho. Matouš hned vstal a následoval ho.BSBBSB: As Jesus went on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax booth. “Follow Me,” He told him, and Matthew got up and followed Him.
7. 10SNCPozději při hostině v Matoušově domě přišlo také mnoho celníků a lidí pochybné pověsti, aby poznali Ježíše a jeho učedníky.BSBBSB: Later, as Jesus was dining at Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with Him and His disciples.
8. 11SNCZbožné farizeje to popudilo: „Jak si váš mistr může sednout k jednomu stolu s takovými lidmi?“BSBBSB: When the Pharisees saw this, they asked His disciples, “Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”
9. 12SNCKdyž to Ježíš uslyšel, řekl jim: „Lékaře potřebují nemocní a ne zdraví.BSBBSB: On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.
10. 13SNCZamyslete se nad tím, co znamená to staré slovo Písma: Nechci vaše oběti a dary, ale chci, abyste byli milosrdní. Nepřišel jsem schvalovat vaši bezúhonnost, ale zvát hříšníky k pokání.“BSBBSB: But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”
11. 14SNCPotom přišli za Ježíšem žáci Jana Křtitele s otázkou: „My a farizejové často držíme půst. Proč se tvoji učedníci také nepostí, jak je zvykem zbožných lidí?“BSBBSB: Then John’s disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Why is it that we and the Pharisees fast so often, but Your disciples do not fast?”
Nový život z Boha se nedá vtěsnat do starých zvyků a forem.BSBBSB: Jesus replied, “How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while He is with them? But the time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast.
Záplata vytrhne chatrné tkanivo a díra se ještě zvětší.BSBBSB: No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. For the patch will pull away from the garment, and a worse tear will result.
14. 17SNCMladé víno přece také nedáváte do měchů ze staré kůže, jinak by popraskaly a obojí by přišlo nazmar. Nové víno potřebuje nové měchy!“BSBBSB: Neither do men pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst, the wine will spill, and the wineskins will be ruined. Instead, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”
15. 18SNCZatímco Ježíš mluvil, přišel jeden z představených místní synagogy a poklonil se mu. „Moje dcera právě zemřela,“ řekl, „ale ty jí můžeš zase vrátit život. Pojď, polož na ni ruku a vrátíš jí život.“BSBBSB: While Jesus was saying these things, a synagogue leader came and knelt before Him. “My daughter has just died,” he said. “But come and place Your hand on her, and she will live.”
16. 19SNCJežíš i jeho učedníci šli s ním.BSBBSB: So Jesus got up and went with him, along with His disciples.
17. 20SNCVtom však jedna žena, již dvanáct let postižená krvácením, se k Ježíšovi zezadu přiblížila a dotkla se okraje jeho roucha.BSBBSB: Suddenly a woman who had suffered from bleeding for twelve years came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His cloak.
18. 21SNCMyslela si: Když se alespoň dotknu jeho šatu, určitě se uzdravím.BSBBSB: She said to herself, “If only I touch His cloak, I will be healed.”
19. 22SNCJežíš se však otočil, podíval se na ni a řekl: „Raduj se, tvá víra tě zachránila.“ A opravdu, v tu chvíli byla žena zbavena svého trápení.BSBBSB: Jesus turned and saw her. “Take courage, daughter,” He said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed from that very hour.
20. 23SNCPak Ježíš došel k domu onoho představeného synagogy, kde hrála pohřební hudba a naříkal shromážděný dav.BSBBSB: When Jesus entered the house of the synagogue leader, He saw the flute players and the noisy crowd.
21. 24SNCŘekl jim: „Jděte všichni pryč! Smrt té dívky pomine jako spánek.“ Ale nikdo ho nebral vážně a vysmívali se mu.BSBBSB: “Go away,” He told them. “The girl is not dead, but asleep.” And they laughed at Him.
22. 25SNCKdyž byl dům konečně vyklizen, Ježíš vešel, vzal děvčátko za ruku a ono vstalo.BSBBSB: After the crowd had been put outside, Jesus went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up.
23. 26SNCZpráva o tom se rychle roznesla po celém kraji.BSBBSB: And the news about this spread throughout that region.
24. 27SNCNa cestě odtud se k Ježíšovi přidali dva slepci a volali: „Kriste, králi, slituj se nad námi!“BSBBSB: As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!”
25. 28SNCŠli za ním až do domu. Ježíš se jich zeptal: „Opravdu věříte, že vám mohu vrátit zrak?“BSBBSB: After Jesus had entered the house, the blind men came to Him. “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” He asked. “Yes, Lord,” they answered.
Then He touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith will it be done to you.”
27. 30SNCV tu chvíli prohlédli. Pak jim důrazně přikázal: „Nechte si to pro sebe, ať se nikdo o tom nedoví!“BSBBSB: And their eyes were opened. Jesus warned them sternly, “See that no one finds out about this!”
28. 31SNCAle oni chodili po celém kraji a všude o něm mluvili.BSBBSB: But they went out and spread the news about Him throughout the land.
29. 32SNCSotva odešli, přivedli k Ježíšovi němého člověka, posedlého zlým duchem.BSBBSB: As they were leaving, a demon-possessed man who was mute was brought to Jesus.
30. 33SNCJežíš démona vyhnal a němý začal mluvit. Zástupem proběhla vlna údivu: „Nikdy se v Izraeli nic podobného nedělo!“BSBBSB: And when the demon had been driven out, the man began to speak. The crowds were amazed and said, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel!”
31. 34SNCFarizejové to však vysvětlovali: „Vyhání ďábly, protože je ve spojení s jejich vládcem.“BSBBSB: But the Pharisees said, “It is by the prince of demons that He drives out demons.”
32. 35SNCPotom Ježíš procházel všemi městy i vesnicemi, učil v tamních synagogách a kázal radostnou zvěst o Božím království. A kamkoliv přišel, všude uzdravoval nemoci všeho druhu.BSBBSB: Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness.
Byli jako ovce bez pastýře.BSBBSB: When He saw the crowds, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
34. 37SNCSvým učedníkům řekl: „Ti všichni patří Bohu jako úroda svému hospodáři. Je však málo ženců.BSBBSB: Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.
35. 38SNCProto proste Pána, ať pošle pracovníky na své žně.“BSBBSB: Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest.”
