1. 1KSSئێمە ئەمە ڕادەگەیەنین سەبارەت بە وشەی ژیان، ئەوەی لە سەرەتاوە بوو، ئەوەی گوێمان لێی بوو، ئەوەی بە چاوی خۆمان بینیمان، ئەوەی تەماشامان کرد و دەستمان لێیدا.BSBBSB: That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our own eyes, which we have gazed upon and touched with our own hands—this is the Word of life.
2. 2KSSژیانەکە دەرکەوت، ئێمە بینیومانە و شایەتی بۆ دەدەین، ژیانە هەتاهەتاییەکەتان بۆ ڕادەگەیەنین، ئەو ژیانەی کە لەلای باوکی ئاسمانی بوو و بۆ ئێمە دەرکەوت.BSBBSB: And this is the life that was revealed; we have seen it and testified to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life that was with the Father and was revealed to us.
3. 3KSSئەوەی بینیومانە و بیستوومانە بە ئێوەی ڕادەگەیەنین، بۆ ئەوەی پێکەوە ژیانی هاوبەشمان هەبێت، پێکەوە ژیانی ئێمەش پەیوەستە لەگەڵ باوکی ئاسمانی و عیسای مەسیحی کوڕی.BSBBSB: We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And this fellowship of ours is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.
4. 4KSSئێمە ئەمانەتان بۆ دەنووسین تاکو خۆشییەکەمان پڕ و تەواو بێت.BSBBSB: We write these things so that our joy may be complete.
5. 5KSSئەمەش ئەو پەیامەیە کە لە مەسیحەوە بیستمان و پێتانی ڕادەگەیەنین: خودا ڕووناکییە، هیچ تاریکییەکی تێدا نییە.BSBBSB: And this is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you: God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
6. 6KSSئەگەر بڵێین لەگەڵیدا پێکەوە دەژین و بە تاریکیدا بڕۆین، ئەوا درۆ دەکەین و ڕاست ناکەین،BSBBSB: If we say we have fellowship with Him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
7. 7KSSبەڵام ئەگەر بە ڕووناکیدا بڕۆین، هەروەک چۆن خودا لە ڕووناکیدایە، ئەوا پێکەوە دەژین و خوێنی عیسای کوڕی لە هەموو گوناهێک پاکمان دەکاتەوە.BSBBSB: But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
8. 8KSSئەگەر بڵێین گوناهمان نییە، ئەوا خۆمان هەڵدەخەڵەتێنین و ڕاستی لە ئێمەدا نییە.BSBBSB: If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9. 9KSSئەگەر دانمان بە گوناهەکانماندا نا، ئەوا خودا دڵسۆز و دادپەروەرە، تەنانەت لە گوناهەکانمان خۆشدەبێت و لە هەموو ناڕەواییەک پاکمان دەکاتەوە.BSBBSB: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10. 10KSSئەگەر بڵێین گوناهمان نەکردووە، ئەوا بە درۆزنی دادەنێین و پەیامەکەی لە ئێمەدا نییە.BSBBSB: If we say we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar, and His word is not in us.
