7 CMNCBS 但他们没有孩子，因为伊丽莎白不能生育，二人又年纪老迈。 BSB BSB: But they had no children, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were both well along in years.
8 CMNCBS 有一天，轮到撒迦利亚那一班祭司在上帝面前司职， BSB BSB: One day while Zechariah’s division was on duty and he was serving as priest before God,
9 CMNCBS 他们按照祭司的规矩抽签，抽中撒迦利亚到主的殿里去烧香。 BSB BSB: he was chosen by lot, according to the custom of the priesthood, to enter the temple of the Lord and burn incense.
10 CMNCBS 他烧香的时候，众百姓都在外面祷告。 BSB BSB: And at the hour of the incense offering, the whole congregation was praying outside.
11 CMNCBS 那时，主的天使站在香坛的右边向撒迦利亚显现， BSB BSB: Just then an angel of the Lord appeared to Zechariah, standing at the right side of the altar of incense.
12 CMNCBS 撒迦利亚见了，又惊又怕。 BSB BSB: When Zechariah saw him, he was startled and gripped with fear.
13 CMNCBS 天使对他说：“撒迦利亚，不要害怕，你的祷告已蒙垂听。你的妻子伊丽莎白要为你生一个儿子，你要给他取名叫约翰。 BSB BSB: But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zechariah, because your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to give him the name John.
14 CMNCBS 你必欢喜快乐，许多人也会因为他的诞生而欣喜雀跃， BSB BSB: He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice at his birth,
15 CMNCBS 因为他将成为主眼中伟大的仆人。他必滴酒不沾，并且在母腹里就被圣灵充满。 BSB BSB: for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He shall never take wine or strong drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit even from his mother’s womb.
16 CMNCBS 他将使许多以色列人回心转意，归顺主——他们的上帝。 BSB BSB: Many of the sons of Israel he will turn back to the Lord their God.
18 CMNCBS 撒迦利亚对天使说：“我已经老了，我的妻子也上了年纪，我怎么能确定这件事呢？” BSB BSB: “How can I be sure of this?” Zechariah asked the angel. “I am an old man, and my wife is well along in years.”
19 CMNCBS 天使回答说：“我是侍立在上帝面前的加百列，奉命来向你报这喜讯。 BSB BSB: “I am Gabriel,” replied the angel. “I stand in the presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and to bring you this good news.
20 CMNCBS 我说的这些话到时候必定应验。但因为你不肯相信我的话，所以这事成就以前，你会变成哑巴，不能说话。” BSB BSB: And now you will be silent and unable to speak until the day this comes to pass, because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled at their proper time.”
21 CMNCBS 人们在等候撒迦利亚，见他在圣殿里迟迟不出来，都感到奇怪。 BSB BSB: Meanwhile, the people were waiting for Zechariah and wondering why he took so long in the temple.
22 CMNCBS 后来他出来了，却成了哑巴，不能说话，只能打手势，人们意识到他在圣殿里看见了异象。 BSB BSB: When he came out and was unable to speak to them, they realized he had seen a vision in the temple. He kept making signs to them but remained unable to speak.
23 CMNCBS 撒迦利亚供职期满，就回家去了。 BSB BSB: And when the days of his service were complete, he returned home.
24 CMNCBS 之后，伊丽莎白果然怀了孕，她有五个月闭门不出。 BSB BSB: After these days, his wife Elizabeth became pregnant and for five months remained in seclusion. She declared,

30 CMNCBS 天使对她说：“玛丽亚，不要害怕，你在上帝面前已经蒙恩了。 BSB BSB: So the angel told her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.
31 CMNCBS 听着，你要怀孕生子，并给祂取名叫耶稣。 BSB BSB: Behold, you will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus.

33 CMNCBS 祂要永远统治雅各家，祂的国度永无穷尽。” BSB BSB: and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever. His kingdom will never end!”
35 CMNCBS 天使回答说：“圣灵要临到你身上，至高者的能力要荫庇你，所以你要生的那圣婴必称为上帝的儿子。 BSB BSB: The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the Holy One to be born will be called the Son of God.
36 CMNCBS 看啊，你的亲戚伊丽莎白年纪老迈，一向不能生育，现在已经怀男胎六个月了。 BSB BSB: Look, even Elizabeth your relative has conceived a son in her old age, and she who was called barren is in her sixth month.

43 CMNCBS 我主的母亲来探望我，我怎么敢当呢？ BSB BSB: And why am I so honored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
44 CMNCBS 我一听到你问安的声音，腹中的孩子就欢喜跳动。 BSB BSB: For as soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy.
45 CMNCBS 那相信主所说的话必定实现的女子有福了！” BSB BSB: Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord’s word to her will be fulfilled.”
47 CMNCBS 我的灵因我的救主上帝而欢喜， BSB BSB: and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior!
49 CMNCBS 大能者在我身上行了奇事， 祂的名是神圣的。 BSB BSB: For the Mighty One has done great things for me. Holy is His name.
50 CMNCBS 祂怜悯敬畏祂的人， 直到世世代代。 BSB BSB: His mercy extends to those who fear Him, from generation to generation.

59 CMNCBS 到了第八天，他们来给孩子行割礼，想照他父亲的名字给他取名叫撒迦利亚。 BSB BSB: On the eighth day, when they came to circumcise the child, they were going to name him after his father Zechariah.
60 CMNCBS 但伊丽莎白说：“不！要叫他约翰。” BSB BSB: But his mother replied, “No! He shall be called John.”

62 CMNCBS 他们便向他父亲打手势，问他要给孩子起什么名字。 BSB BSB: So they made signs to his father to find out what he wanted to name the child.
63 CMNCBS 撒迦利亚就要了一块写字板，写上：“他的名字叫约翰。”大家都很惊奇。 BSB BSB: Zechariah asked for a tablet and wrote, “His name is John.” And they were all amazed.
64 CMNCBS 突然，撒迦利亚可以开口了，舌头也灵活了，便开口赞美上帝。 BSB BSB: Immediately Zechariah’s mouth was opened and his tongue was released, and he began to speak, praising God.
65 CMNCBS 住在周围的人都很惧怕，这消息很快就传遍了整个犹太山区。 BSB BSB: All their neighbors were filled with awe, and people throughout the hill country of Judea were talking about these events.
66 CMNCBS 听见的人都在想：“这孩子将来会怎样呢？因为主的能力伴随着他。” BSB BSB: And all who heard this wondered in their hearts and asked, “What then will this child become?” For the Lord’s hand was with him.
67 CMNCBS 孩子的父亲撒迦利亚被圣灵充满，便预言说： BSB BSB: Then his father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied:
68 CMNCBS “主——以色列的上帝当受称颂， 因祂眷顾、救赎了自己的子民， BSB BSB: “Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, because He has visited and redeemed His people.
69 CMNCBS 在祂仆人大卫的家族中为我们兴起了一位大能的拯救者， BSB BSB: He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of His servant David,
70 CMNCBS 正如祂亘古以来借着祂圣先知们的口所说的。 BSB BSB: as He spoke through His holy prophets, those of ages past,
