1. 1CMNCBT摩西為岳父米甸祭司葉特羅放羊。一天他領著羊群穿越曠野，來到上帝的山——何烈山。BSBBSB: Meanwhile, Moses was shepherding the flock of his father-in-law Jethro, the priest of Midian. He led the flock to the far side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.
2. 2CMNCBT忽然有耶和華的天使在荊棘的火焰中向他顯現。摩西看見荊棘雖然在燃燒，卻沒有被燒毀。BSBBSB: There the angel of the LORD appeared to him in a blazing fire from within a bush. Moses saw the bush ablaze with fire, but it was not consumed.
3. 3CMNCBT摩西想：「我要過去看這個奇異的景象，荊棘為什麼沒有被燒掉呢？」BSBBSB: So Moses thought, “I must go over and see this marvelous sight. Why is the bush not burning up?”

5. 5CMNCBT上帝說：「別再靠近，脫下你腳上的鞋，因為你所站的地方是聖地。」BSBBSB: “Do not come any closer,” God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.”
6. 6CMNCBT又說：「我是你祖先的上帝，是亞伯拉罕的上帝，以撒的上帝，雅各的上帝。」摩西害怕看上帝，就把臉蒙起來。BSBBSB: Then He said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” At this, Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look at God.
7. 7CMNCBT耶和華說：「我已經看見我子民在埃及所受的苦難，聽見了他們因監工的壓迫而發出的呼求。我知道他們的痛苦。BSBBSB: The LORD said, “I have indeed seen the affliction of My people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their oppressors, and I am aware of their sufferings.

10. 10CMNCBT現在去吧，我要派你到法老那裡，帶我的以色列子民出埃及。」BSBBSB: Therefore, go! I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring My people the Israelites out of Egypt.”
11. 11CMNCBT但摩西對上帝說：「我是誰啊？怎麼能去見法老，帶以色列人出埃及呢？」BSBBSB: But Moses asked God, “Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?”
12. 12CMNCBT上帝說：「我必與你同在，你帶百姓出埃及後，你們必在這座山上事奉我——這將是我派你去的證據。」BSBBSB: “I will surely be with you,” God said, “and this will be the sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, all of you will worship God on this mountain.”

14. 14CMNCBT上帝對摩西說：「我是自有永有者。你要這樣回答以色列人，『那位自有永有者派我到你們這裡。』」BSBBSB: God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”
15. 15CMNCBT上帝又對摩西說：「你要告訴以色列人是我派遣你到他們那裡，我是他們祖先的上帝耶和華，是亞伯拉罕的上帝，以撒的上帝，雅各的上帝。耶和華是我的名字，直到永遠，世世代代的人都要這樣稱呼我。BSBBSB: God also told Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The LORD, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’ This is My name forever, and this is how I am to be remembered in every generation.
16. 16CMNCBT你去招聚以色列的長老，對他們說，『你們祖先的上帝耶和華，就是亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的上帝向我顯現，說祂關切你們，知道你們在埃及的遭遇。BSBBSB: Go, assemble the elders of Israel and say to them, ‘The LORD, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—has appeared to me and said: I have surely attended to you and have seen what has been done to you in Egypt.
17. 17CMNCBT祂應許要帶領你們脫離在埃及所受的苦難，到迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人，希未人和耶布斯人住的地方，那裡是奶蜜之鄉。』BSBBSB: And I have promised to bring you up out of your affliction in Egypt, into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites—a land flowing with milk and honey.’
18. 18CMNCBT以色列的長老們必定聽從你的話，你就跟他們一起去見埃及王，對他說，『希伯來人的上帝耶和華向我們顯現。現在請你容許我們走三天的路程，到曠野去，向我們的上帝耶和華獻祭。』BSBBSB: The elders of Israel will listen to what you say, and you must go with them to the king of Egypt and tell him, ‘The LORD, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us. Now please let us take a three-day journey into the wilderness, so that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God.’
19. 19CMNCBT我也知道除非我用大能的手向他施壓，不然埃及王不會讓你們離開。BSBBSB: But I know that the king of Egypt will not allow you to go unless a mighty hand compels him.
20. 20CMNCBT因此，我必伸手行各種神蹟攻擊埃及，之後他必讓你們離開。BSBBSB: So I will stretch out My hand and strike the Egyptians with all the wonders I will perform among them. And after that, he will release you.
21. 21CMNCBT我必使埃及人恩待你們，好叫你們不致空手離開埃及。BSBBSB: And I will grant this people such favor in the sight of the Egyptians that when you leave, you will not go away empty-handed.
22. 22CMNCBT你們的婦女只管向埃及鄰居及住在鄰居家的婦女索取金器、銀器和衣服，給自己的兒女穿戴，你們必這樣奪取埃及人的財物。」BSBBSB: Every woman shall ask her neighbor and any woman staying in her house for silver and gold jewelry and clothing, and you will put them on your sons and daughters. So you will plunder the Egyptians.”
