1. 1CMNCBT上帝眷顧挪亞及方舟裡的野獸和牲畜，就使風吹在大地上，水便開始消退。BSBBSB: But God remembered Noah and all the animals and livestock that were with him in the ark. And God sent a wind over the earth, and the waters began to subside.
2. 2CMNCBT深淵的泉源和天上的水閘都關閉了，大雨也停了。BSBBSB: The springs of the deep and the floodgates of the heavens were closed, and the rain from the sky was restrained.
3. 3CMNCBT地上的洪水慢慢消退，過了一百五十天，水退下去了。BSBBSB: The waters receded steadily from the earth, and after 150 days the waters had gone down.
4. 4CMNCBT七月十七日，方舟停在亞拉臘山上。BSBBSB: On the seventeenth day of the seventh month, the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat.
5. 5CMNCBT水繼續消退一直到十月，到十月一日，山頂都露出來了。BSBBSB: And the waters continued to recede until the tenth month, and on the first day of the tenth month the tops of the mountains became visible.
6. 6CMNCBT又過了四十天，挪亞打開他在方舟上所造的窗戶，BSBBSB: After forty days Noah opened the window he had made in the ark
7. 7CMNCBT放出一隻烏鴉。牠一直在空中飛來飛去，直到地上的水都乾了。BSBBSB: and sent out a raven. It kept flying back and forth until the waters had dried up from the earth.
8. 8CMNCBT然後，挪亞放出一隻鴿子，以便瞭解地面的水是否已經消退。BSBBSB: Then Noah sent out a dove to see if the waters had receded from the surface of the ground.
9. 9CMNCBT但遍地都是水，鴿子找不到歇腳的地方，就飛回了方舟，挪亞伸手把鴿子接進方舟裡。BSBBSB: But the dove found no place to rest her foot, and she returned to him in the ark, because the waters were still covering the surface of all the earth. So he reached out his hand and brought her back inside the ark.
10. 10CMNCBT挪亞又等了七天，再把鴿子放出去。BSBBSB: Noah waited seven more days and again sent out the dove from the ark.
11. 11CMNCBT到了黃昏，鴿子飛回來，嘴裡啣著一片新擰下來的橄欖葉，挪亞便知道地上的水已經退了。BSBBSB: And behold, the dove returned to him in the evening with a freshly plucked olive leaf in her beak. So Noah knew that the waters had receded from the earth.
12. 12CMNCBT他又等了七天，再放出鴿子，這次鴿子沒有回來。BSBBSB: And Noah waited seven more days and sent out the dove again, but this time she did not return to him.
13. 13CMNCBT挪亞六百零一歲那年的一月一日，地上的水乾了。挪亞打開方舟的蓋觀望，看見地面都乾了。BSBBSB: In Noah’s six hundred and first year, on the first day of the first month, the waters had dried up from the earth. So Noah removed the covering from the ark and saw that the surface of the ground was dry.
14. 14CMNCBT到了二月二十七日，大地完全乾了。BSBBSB: By the twenty-seventh day of the second month, the earth was fully dry.
15. 15CMNCBT上帝對挪亞說：BSBBSB: Then God said to Noah,
16. 16CMNCBT「你與妻子、兒子和兒媳都要出方舟。BSBBSB: “Come out of the ark, you and your wife, along with your sons and their wives.
17. 17CMNCBT你要把方舟裡的飛禽走獸及爬蟲等所有動物都帶出來，讓牠們在地上多多滋長，生養繁衍。」BSBBSB: Bring out all the living creatures that are with you—birds, livestock, and everything that crawls upon the ground—so that they can spread out over the earth and be fruitful and multiply upon it.”
18. 18CMNCBT於是，挪亞與妻子、兒子和兒媳都出了方舟。BSBBSB: So Noah came out, along with his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives.
19. 19CMNCBT方舟裡的飛禽走獸和爬蟲等所有地上的動物，都按種類出了方舟。BSBBSB: Every living creature, every creeping thing, and every bird—everything that moves upon the earth—came out of the ark, kind by kind.
20. 20CMNCBT挪亞為耶和華築了一座壇，在上面焚燒各種潔淨的牲畜和飛鳥作為燔祭。BSBBSB: Then Noah built an altar to the LORD. And taking from every kind of clean animal and clean bird, he offered burnt offerings on the altar.
21. 21CMNCBT耶和華聞到這燔祭的馨香，心想：「雖然人從小就心存惡念，但我再不會因為人的緣故而咒詛大地，再不會像這次一樣毀滅一切活物了。BSBBSB: When the LORD smelled the pleasing aroma, He said in His heart, “Never again will I curse the ground because of man, even though every inclination of his heart is evil from his youth. And never again will I destroy all living creatures as I have done.
22. 22CMNCBT只要大地尚存，播種收割、夏熱冬寒、白晝黑夜必不停息。」BSBBSB: As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night shall never cease.”
