1. 1CMNCBT七月二十一日，耶和華藉先知哈該說：BSBBSB: On the twenty-first day of the seventh month, the word of the LORD came through Haggai the prophet, saying:
2. 2CMNCBT「你去告訴撒拉鐵的兒子猶大省長所羅巴伯、約撒答的兒子大祭司約書亞和所有的餘民，BSBBSB: “Speak to Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and also to the remnant of the people. Ask them,
3. 3CMNCBT『你們倖存的人當中有誰見過這殿昔日的榮耀呢？現在你們看這殿如何？看上去豈不是無足輕重嗎？BSBBSB: ‘Who is left among you who saw this house in its former glory? How does it look to you now? Does it not appear to you like nothing in comparison?’
4. 4CMNCBT所羅巴伯啊，你要剛強，這是耶和華說的。約撒答的兒子大祭司約書亞啊，你要剛強；這地方的所有百姓啊，你們要剛強。這是耶和華說的。你們要動工，因為我與你們同在。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。BSBBSB: But now be strong, O Zerubbabel, declares the LORD. Be strong, O Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest. And be strong, all you people of the land, declares the LORD. Work! For I am with you, declares the LORD of Hosts.
5. 5CMNCBT這是你們出埃及時我與你們立的約。不要懼怕，我的靈仍住在你們當中。BSBBSB: This is the promise I made to you when you came out of Egypt. And My Spirit remains among you; do not be afraid.”
6. 6CMNCBT「『萬軍之耶和華說，不久，我要再次震動天地、海洋和旱地。BSBBSB: For this is what the LORD of Hosts says: “Once more, in a little while, I will shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land.
7. 7CMNCBT萬軍之耶和華說，我要震動萬國，萬國的珍寶都要送到這殿，我要使這殿充滿榮耀。BSBBSB: I will shake all the nations, and they will come with all their treasures, and I will fill this house with glory, says the LORD of Hosts.
8. 8CMNCBT萬軍之耶和華說，金子是我的，銀子也是我的。BSBBSB: The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, declares the LORD of Hosts.
9. 9CMNCBT萬軍之耶和華說，這殿後來的榮耀必大過從前的榮耀。萬軍之耶和華說，我要在這地方賜下平安。』」BSBBSB: The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former, says the LORD of Hosts. And in this place I will provide peace, declares the LORD of Hosts.”
10. 10CMNCBT大流士王執政第二年九月二十四日，耶和華對先知哈該說：BSBBSB: On the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, the word of the LORD came to Haggai the prophet, saying,
11. 11CMNCBT「萬軍之耶和華說，『你去問祭司律法怎麼說，BSBBSB: “This is what the LORD of Hosts says: ‘Ask the priests for a ruling.
12. 12CMNCBT如果有人用衣服兜著祭肉，而衣服碰到餅、湯、酒、油或其他食物，這些被衣服碰到的食物會成為聖潔之物嗎？』」祭司們答道：「不會。」BSBBSB: If a man carries consecrated meat in the fold of his garment, and it touches bread, stew, wine, oil, or any other food, does that item become holy?’” “No,” replied the priests.
13. 13CMNCBT哈該又說：「如果因碰過屍體而變得不潔淨的人接觸這些食物，這些食物會變得不潔淨嗎？」祭司答道：「會變得不潔淨。」BSBBSB: So Haggai asked, “If one who is defiled by contact with a corpse touches any of these, does it become defiled?” “Yes, it becomes defiled,” the priests answered.

15. 15CMNCBT「『你們現在要回想重建耶和華殿之前的光景。BSBBSB: Now consider carefully from this day forward: Before one stone was placed on another in the temple of the LORD,
16. 16CMNCBT那時，有人盼望得到二十斗穀物，卻只有十斗。有人盼望得到五十桶酒，榨酒池中卻只有二十桶。BSBBSB: from that time, when one came expecting a heap of twenty ephahs of grain, there were but ten. When one came to the winepress to draw out fifty baths, there were but twenty.
17. 17CMNCBT我曾用蟲災、黴災和冰雹毀滅你們的作物，你們仍沒有歸向我。這是耶和華說的。BSBBSB: I struck you—all the work of your hands—with blight, mildew, and hail, but you did not turn to Me, declares the LORD.
18. 18CMNCBT從今以後，也就是從九月二十四日起，你們要思想耶和華的殿奠基的日子，要認真思想。BSBBSB: Consider carefully from this day forward—from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, the day the foundation of the LORD’s temple was laid—consider carefully:
19. 19CMNCBT雖然糧倉裡沒有種子，葡萄樹、無花果樹、石榴樹和橄欖樹沒結果子，但從今以後，我要賜福給你們。』」BSBBSB: Is there still seed in the barn? The vine, the fig, the pomegranate, and the olive tree have not yet yielded fruit. But from this day on, I will bless you.”
20. 20CMNCBT同一天，耶和華第二次對哈該說：BSBBSB: For the second time that day, the twenty-fourth day of the month, the word of the LORD came to Haggai, saying,
21. 21CMNCBT「你告訴猶大省長所羅巴伯，『我必震動天地，BSBBSB: “Tell Zerubbabel governor of Judah that I am about to shake the heavens and the earth:
22. 22CMNCBT推翻君王的寶座，消滅列國的勢力，掀翻他們的戰車和駕車的人，使戰馬跌倒、騎士自相殘殺。BSBBSB: I will overturn royal thrones and destroy the power of the kingdoms of the nations. I will overturn chariots and their riders; horses and their riders will fall, each by the sword of his brother.
23. 23CMNCBT萬軍之耶和華說，我的僕人——撒拉鐵的兒子所羅巴伯啊，到那日，我必使你作我蓋印的戒指，因為我揀選了你。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。』」BSBBSB: On that day, declares the LORD of Hosts, I will take you, My servant, Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, declares the LORD, and I will make you like My signet ring, for I have chosen you, declares the LORD of Hosts.”
