Luke 4 (CMNCBT)

1耶穌被聖靈充滿，從約旦河回來後，隨聖靈的引導來到曠野，Then Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,

2在那裡受魔鬼的試探四十天。那些日子耶穌什麼也沒吃。那段日子過後，祂餓了。where for forty days He was tempted by the devil. He ate nothing during those days, and when they had ended, He was hungry.

3魔鬼對祂說：「你如果是上帝的兒子，就叫這塊石頭變成食物吧。」The devil said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread.”

4耶穌回答說：「聖經上說，『人活著不是單靠食物。』」But Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone.’”

5魔鬼又帶祂上到高處，頃刻間把天下萬國展示給祂看，Then the devil led Him up to a high place and showed Him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world.

6說：「我要把這一切權勢和榮耀都給你，因為這一切全交給我了，我想給誰就給誰。“I will give You authority over all these kingdoms and all their glory,” he said. “For it has been relinquished to me, and I can give it to anyone I wish.

7如果你向我下拜，這一切就是你的了。」So if You worship me, it will all be Yours.”

8耶穌回答說：「聖經上說，『要敬拜主你的上帝，單單事奉祂。』」But Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.’”

9魔鬼又帶耶穌到耶路撒冷，讓祂站在聖殿的最高處，說：「你如果是上帝的兒子，就從這裡跳下去吧，Then the devil led Him to Jerusalem and set Him on the pinnacle of the temple. “If You are the Son of God,” he said, “throw Yourself down from here.

10因為聖經上說，『上帝會吩咐祂的天使保護你，For it is written: ‘He will command His angels concerning You to guard You carefully,

11他們會用手托住你，不讓你的腳碰在石頭上。』」and they will lift You up in their hands, so that You will not strike Your foot against a stone.’”

12耶穌回答說：「聖經上說，『不可試探主你的上帝。』」But Jesus answered, “It also says, ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’”

13魔鬼用盡各種試探後，暫時離開了耶穌。When the devil had finished every temptation, he left Him until an opportune time.

14耶穌帶著聖靈的能力回到加利利，祂的名聲傳遍了周圍地區。Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and the news about Him spread throughout the surrounding region.

15祂在各會堂裡教導人，大家都稱讚祂。He taught in their synagogues and was glorified by everyone.

16祂來到自己長大的地方拿撒勒，照常在安息日進會堂，並站起來要誦讀聖經。Then Jesus came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. As was His custom, He entered the synagogue on the Sabbath. And when He stood up to read,

17有人把以賽亞先知書遞給祂，祂打開書卷，找到這樣一段經文：the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to Him. Unrolling it, He found the place where it was written:

18「主的靈在我身上，因為祂膏立了我，讓我傳福音給貧窮的人，差遣我宣告被擄的人得釋放、瞎眼的人得見光明、受欺壓的人得自由，“The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to release the oppressed,

19又宣告上帝的恩年。」to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”

20耶穌讀完便收好書卷，還給負責的人，然後坐下。會堂裡的人都把目光集中在祂身上。Then He rolled up the scroll, returned it to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fixed on Him,

21祂就對他們說：「你們剛才聽見的這段經文今天已經應驗了。」and He began by saying, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”

22大家都稱讚祂，聽見祂那些充滿恩典的話，都感到驚奇，就說：「這不是約瑟的兒子嗎？」All spoke well of Him and marveled at the gracious words that came from His lips. “Isn’t this the son of Joseph?” they asked.

23耶穌對他們說：「你們肯定會把這句俗話用在我身上，說，『醫生啊，治好你自己吧！你在迦百農所行的一切，我們都聽說了，也在你家鄉行給我們看吧！』Jesus said to them, “Surely you will quote this proverb to Me: ‘Physician, heal yourself! Do here in Your hometown what we have heard that You did in Capernaum.’”

24可是我實在告訴你們，先知在本鄉是不受歡迎的。Then He added, “Truly I tell you, no prophet is accepted in his hometown.

25誠然，在以利亞先知的時代，天乾旱無雨達三年半之久，遍地有大饑荒，當時以色列國有許多寡婦，But I tell you truthfully that there were many widows in Israel in the time of Elijah, when the sky was shut for three and a half years and great famine swept over all the land.

26但以利亞並沒有奉命去幫助她們任何人，只奉命去幫助住在西頓地區撒勒法的一個寡婦。Yet Elijah was not sent to any of them, but to the widow of Zarephath in Sidon.

27在以利沙先知的時代，以色列國有許多患痲瘋病的人，但沒有一個人得到醫治，反而敘利亞的乃縵得到了醫治。」And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet. Yet not one of them was cleansed—only Naaman the Syrian.”

28會堂裡的人聽了這些話都怒火中燒，On hearing this, all the people in the synagogue were enraged.

29就起來把耶穌趕出城外，帶到懸崖邊，要把祂推下去。他們的城就座落在山上。They got up, drove Him out of the town, and led Him to the brow of the hill on which the town was built, in order to throw Him over the cliff.

30耶穌卻從他們中間穿過，離開了那裡。But Jesus passed through the crowd and went on His way.

31耶穌下到加利利的迦百農鎮，在安息日教導眾人。Then He went down to Capernaum, a town in Galilee, and on the Sabbath He began to teach the people.

32聽眾對祂的教導感到驚奇，因為祂的話帶著權柄。They were astonished at His teaching, because His message had authority.

33會堂裡有一個被污鬼附身的人高聲喊叫：In the synagogue there was a man possessed by the spirit of an unclean demon. He cried out in a loud voice,

34「唉！拿撒勒的耶穌啊，我們和你有什麼關係？你是來毀滅我們嗎？我知道你是誰，你是上帝的聖者！」“Ha! What do You want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!”

35耶穌責備牠說：「住口！從他身上出來！」污鬼當眾把那人摔倒，然後從他身上出來了，絲毫沒有傷害他。But Jesus rebuked the demon. “Be silent!” He said. “Come out of him!” At this, the demon threw the man down before them all and came out without harming him.

36眾人都很驚訝，彼此議論說：「這是怎麼回事？祂的話有權柄和能力，祂一發命令，污鬼就出來了！」All the people were overcome with amazement and asked one another, “What is this message? With authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!”

37耶穌的名聲傳遍了周圍地區。And the news about Jesus spread throughout the surrounding region.

38祂離開會堂，到了西門的家。那時，西門的岳母正在發高燒，眾人就求耶穌醫治她。After Jesus had left the synagogue, He went to the home of Simon, whose mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever. So they appealed to Jesus on her behalf,

39耶穌站在她旁邊，斥責熱病，熱病就退了，她便立刻起來服侍他們。and He stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. And she got up at once and began to serve them.

40到了黃昏，人們把患各種疾病的人帶到耶穌面前。耶穌把手按在病人身上，一一治好他們，At sunset, all who were ill with various diseases were brought to Jesus, and laying His hands on each one, He healed them.

41並趕出許多附在人身上的鬼。那些鬼喊叫著：「你是上帝的兒子！」耶穌卻斥責牠們，不許牠們說話，因為牠們知道祂是基督。Demons also came out of many people, shouting, “You are the Son of God!” But He rebuked the demons and would not allow them to speak, because they knew He was the Christ.

42黎明時，耶穌出去到一處荒僻的地方。眾人四處尋找祂，找到後想留住祂，不讓祂離開。At daybreak, Jesus went out to a solitary place, and the crowds were looking for Him. They came to Him and tried to keep Him from leaving.

43但耶穌對他們說：「我必須把上帝國的福音傳到其他城鎮去，因為我就是為此被差來的。」But Jesus told them, “I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns as well, because that is why I was sent.”

44於是耶穌繼續在猶太各會堂裡傳道。And He continued to preach in the synagogues of Judea.
