1. 1CMNFEB在一个安息日，耶稣来到一个法利赛人长官家里吃饭，期间众人都在仔细观察他。BSBBSB: One Sabbath, Jesus went to eat in the home of a leading Pharisee, and those in attendance were watching Him closely.
2. 2CMNFEB他面前有一个人，双手双腿肿胀，BSBBSB: Right there before Him was a man with dropsy.
3. 3CMNFEB于是耶稣对研究法律的专家和法利赛人说：“律法是否允许在安息日治病？”BSBBSB: So Jesus asked the experts in the law and the Pharisees, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath or not?”
4. 4CMNFEB众人保持沉默。耶稣摸了那病人一下，把他治好就叫他走了。BSBBSB: But they remained silent. Then Jesus took hold of the man, healed him, and sent him on his way.
5. 5CMNFEB然后耶稣对众人说：“如果安息日那天，你们的儿子或牛掉在井里，你们难道不会立刻把他或它拉上来吗？”BSBBSB: And He asked them, “Which of you whose son or ox falls into a pit on the Sabbath day will not immediately pull him out?”
6. 6CMNFEB众人无法回答这个问题。BSBBSB: And they were unable to answer these questions.
7. 7CMNFEB耶稣发现他们都选择坐在主位，于是就讲了一个故事。BSBBSB: When Jesus noticed how the guests chose the places of honor, He told them a parable:
8. 8CMNFEB他说：“当你受邀参加婚筵，不要坐上主位，因为受邀客人中，可能有人比你更尊贵。BSBBSB: “When you are invited to a wedding banquet, do not sit in the place of honor, in case someone more distinguished than you has been invited.
9. 9CMNFEB邀请你和那人过来的主人会对你说：‘请把位置给这个人。’这时候你就只能尴尬地坐到其他位置上。BSBBSB: Then the host who invited both of you will come and tell you, ‘Give this man your seat.’ And in humiliation, you will have to take the last place.
10. 10CMNFEB但如果在受邀后，一开始选择坐在末位，主人就会过来对你说：‘朋友，请上座。’这样你在同席众人面前才更有尊严。BSBBSB: But when you are invited, go and sit in the last place, so that your host will come and tell you, ‘Friend, move up to a better place.’ Then you will be honored in front of everyone at the table with you.
11. 11CMNFEB凡是高看自己一眼的人，必会被人看轻，凡谦卑之人，必会受到尊重。”BSBBSB: For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”
12. 12CMNFEB耶稣又对邀请他的人说：“当你在准备午餐或晚餐时，不要邀请你的亲朋好友或富有的邻居，因为他们会回请你，你就得到了报答。BSBBSB: Then Jesus said to the man who had invited Him, “When you host a dinner or a banquet, do not invite your friends or brothers or relatives or rich neighbors. Otherwise, they may invite you in return, and you will be repaid.
13. 13CMNFEB如果你摆宴席邀请穷人、残废人、瘸腿人和盲人，BSBBSB: But when you host a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind,
14. 14CMNFEB你就有福了。因为他们没有什么可以报答你。待良善之人复活之时，你必定获得报答。”BSBBSB: and you will be blessed. Since they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.”
15. 15CMNFEB宴会中一名客人听了这番话，就对耶稣说：“在上帝之国里用餐之人有福了。”BSBBSB: When one of those reclining with Him heard this, he said to Jesus, “Blessed is everyone who will eat at the feast in the kingdom of God.”
16. 16CMNFEB耶稣回答：“一个人大摆宴席，请了许多客人。BSBBSB: But Jesus replied, “A certain man prepared a great banquet and invited many guests.
17. 17CMNFEB到了开席的时候，他派仆人去通知受邀客人，‘来吧！宴席已经备好。’BSBBSB: When it was time for the banquet, he sent his servant to tell those who had been invited, ‘Come, for everything is now ready.’
18. 18CMNFEB但众人却都在推辞。第一个人说：‘我买了一块地，得去看一看，很抱歉。’BSBBSB: But one after another they all began to make excuses. The first one said, ‘I have bought a field, and I need to go see it. Please excuse me.’
19. 19CMNFEB另一个说：‘我买了十头牛，要去试一试，太抱歉了。’BSBBSB: Another said, ‘I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I am going to try them out. Please excuse me.’
20. 20CMNFEB还有一人说：‘我刚结婚，不能去。’BSBBSB: Still another said, ‘I have married a wife, so I cannot come.’
21. 21CMNFEB仆人回来把这些事告诉主人，主人很生气，对仆人说：‘快到城里的大街小巷，把穷人、残疾人、盲人和瘸腿之人都领到这里来。’BSBBSB: The servant returned and reported all this to his master. Then the owner of the house became angry and said to his servant, ‘Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the city, and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind, and the lame.’
22. 22CMNFEB随后仆人说：‘主人，我已经按你的吩咐办好了，但还有空位。’BSBBSB: ‘Sir,’ the servant replied, ‘what you ordered has been done, and there is still room.’
23. 23CMNFEB主人对仆人说：‘那就到乡间小路去，把人们都叫过来，我希望屋子坐满。BSBBSB: So the master told his servant, ‘Go out to the highways and hedges and compel them to come in, so that my house will be full.
24. 24CMNFEB告诉你吧，之前邀请的那些人，谁也别想尝到我宴席的滋味。’”BSBBSB: For I tell you, not one of those men who were invited will taste my banquet.’”
25. 25CMNFEB一大群人与耶稣同行，他转身对他们说：BSBBSB: Now large crowds were traveling with Jesus, and He turned and said to them,
26. 26CMNFEB“如果你们想跟随我，但对我的爱无法超过对父母、妻儿、兄弟姊妹、甚至自己生命的爱，就无法成为我的门徒。BSBBSB: “If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters—yes, even his own life—he cannot be My disciple.
27. 27CMNFEB如果你不能背负自己的十字架跟随我，也不能做我的门徒。BSBBSB: And whoever does not carry his cross and follow Me cannot be My disciple.
28. 28CMNFEB如果你想盖一座高塔，总是要坐下算算费用，看看能不能盖成，是不是？BSBBSB: Which of you, wishing to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost to see if he has the resources to complete it?
29. 29CMNFEB否则，如果在打好地基后却不能完工，人们得知这一切就会讥笑你，BSBBSB: Otherwise, if he lays the foundation and is unable to finish the work, everyone who sees it will ridicule him,
30. 30CMNFEB说：‘看看这个人，开工了却完不成。’BSBBSB: saying, ‘This man could not finish what he started to build.’
31. 31CMNFEB或者一个国王与另一个国王开战，如果他只有一万兵马，而敌方却有两万兵马，他是不是要与军师们商议，看看能不能打赢？BSBBSB: Or what king on his way to war with another king will not first sit down and consider whether he can engage with ten thousand men the one coming against him with twenty thousand?
32. 32CMNFEB如果不能，就要趁对方还未兵临城下，先派使者去讲和。BSBBSB: And if he is unable, he will send a delegation while the other king is still far off, to ask for terms of peace.
33. 33CMNFEB同样，你们中间不论谁，如果无法撇下一切跟随我，就不能做我的门徒。BSBBSB: In the same way, any one of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be My disciple.
34. 34CMNFEB盐是个好东西，但如果失去了咸味，怎能让它再咸起来呢？BSBBSB: Salt is good, but if the salt loses its savor, with what will it be seasoned?
35. 35CMNFEB它对田地没好处，也不能做肥料，你只能把它扔掉。如果你有耳朵，就要听一听。”BSBBSB: It is fit neither for the soil nor for the manure pile, and it is thrown out. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”
