1. 1CMNSWCB主耶和华这样指示我：看哪，祂在晚季草开始生长的时候造了蝗虫；看哪，那是在王收割之后长出的晚季草。BSBBSB: This is what the Lord GOD showed me: He was preparing swarms of locusts just after the king’s harvest, as the late spring crop was coming up.
2. 2CMNSWCB蝗虫吃尽了那地的青草以后，我就说：“主耶和华啊，求你赦免！雅各怎能站立得住呢？因为他微小。”BSBBSB: And when the locusts had eaten every green plant in the land, I said, “Lord GOD, please forgive! How will Jacob survive, since he is so small?”
3. 3CMNSWCB耶和华为这事改变心意。耶和华说：“这事必不发生。”BSBBSB: So the LORD relented from this plan. “It will not happen,” He said.
4. 4CMNSWCB主耶和华这样指示我：看哪，主耶和华召火来施行审判；火烧干了大深渊，几乎吞灭那地。BSBBSB: This is what the Lord GOD showed me: The Lord GOD was calling for judgment by fire. It consumed the great deep and devoured the land.
5. 5CMNSWCB于是我说：“主耶和华啊，求你止息！雅各怎能站立得住呢？因为他微小。”BSBBSB: Then I said, “Lord GOD, please stop! How will Jacob survive, since he is so small?”
6. 6CMNSWCB耶和华为这事改变心意。主耶和华说：“这事也必不发生。”BSBBSB: So the LORD relented from this plan. “It will not happen either,” said the Lord GOD.
7. 7CMNSWCB祂这样指示我：看哪，主站在一道按准绳砌成的墙旁，手里拿着准绳。BSBBSB: This is what He showed me: Behold, the Lord was standing by a wall true to plumb, with a plumb line in His hand.
8. 8CMNSWCB耶和华对我说：“阿摩司，你看见什么？” 我说：“一条准绳。” 主就说：“看哪，我要把准绳放在我子民以色列中间；我不再放过他们了。BSBBSB: “Amos, what do you see?” asked the LORD. “A plumb line,” I replied. “Behold,” said the Lord, “I am setting a plumb line among My people Israel; I will no longer spare them:
9. 9CMNSWCB以撒的丘坛必荒凉，以色列的圣所必被毁坏；我必持刀起来攻击耶罗波安家。”BSBBSB: The high places of Isaac will be deserted, and the sanctuaries of Israel will be laid waste; and I will rise up against the house of Jeroboam with My sword.”
10. 10CMNSWCB伯特利的祭司亚玛谢派人到以色列王耶罗波安那里，说：“阿摩司在以色列家中图谋背叛你；这地承受不了他一切的话。BSBBSB: Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent word to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, “Amos has conspired against you in the midst of the house of Israel. The land cannot bear all his words,
11. 11CMNSWCB因为阿摩司说：‘耶罗波安必死在刀下，以色列必定被掳，离开自己的土地。’”BSBBSB: for this is what Amos has said: ‘Jeroboam will die by the sword, and Israel will surely go into exile, away from their homeland.’”
12. 12CMNSWCB亚玛谢又对阿摩司说：“你这先见哪，去吧，逃往犹大地，在那里吃饭，在那里说预言；BSBBSB: And Amaziah said to Amos, “Go away, you seer! Flee to the land of Judah; earn your bread there and do your prophesying there.
13. 13CMNSWCB却不要再在伯特利说预言，因为这里是王的圣所，是王室的殿！”BSBBSB: But never prophesy at Bethel again, because it is the sanctuary of the king and the temple of the kingdom.”
14. 14CMNSWCB阿摩司回答亚玛谢说：“我本不是先知，也不是先知的儿子；我是牧人，又是培植桑无花果的人。BSBBSB: “I was not a prophet,” Amos replied, “nor was I the son of a prophet; rather, I was a herdsman and a tender of sycamore-fig trees.
15. 15CMNSWCB耶和华从跟随羊群的事上把我取来，耶和华对我说：‘去，向我的子民以色列说预言。’BSBBSB: But the LORD took me from following the flock and said to me, ‘Go, prophesy to My people Israel.’
16. 16CMNSWCB现在你要听耶和华的话：‘你说：不要说预言攻击以色列，也不要宣讲攻击以撒家。’BSBBSB: Now, therefore, hear the word of the LORD. You say: ‘Do not prophesy against Israel; do not preach against the house of Isaac.’
17. 17CMNSWCB所以耶和华这样说：‘你的妻子必在城中为妓；你的儿女必倒在刀下；你的土地必用准绳分割；你自己必死在不洁净之地；以色列必定被掳，离开自己的土地。’”BSBBSB: Therefore this is what the LORD says: ‘Your wife will become a prostitute in the city, and your sons and daughters will fall by the sword. Your land will be divided by a measuring line, and you yourself will die on pagan soil. And Israel will surely go into exile, away from their homeland.’”
