1. 1CMNSWCB有一个利未家的人，去娶了一个利未女子为妻。BSBBSB: Now a man of the house of Levi married a Levite woman,
2. 2CMNSWCB那女人怀孕，生了一个儿子。她见他是个俊美的孩子，就把他藏了三个月。BSBBSB: and she conceived and gave birth to a son. When she saw that he was a beautiful child, she hid him for three months.
3. 3CMNSWCB后来她不能再藏他了，就为他取了一个蒲草箱，涂上焦油和沥青。她把孩子放在里面，搁在河边的芦苇中。BSBBSB: But when she could no longer hide him, she got him a papyrus basket and coated it with tar and pitch. Then she placed the child in the basket and set it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile.
4. 4CMNSWCB孩子的姐姐远远站着，要看他究竟会怎样。BSBBSB: And his sister stood at a distance to see what would happen to him.
5. 5CMNSWCB法老的女儿下到河边洗澡。她的侍女们在河岸边行走。她看见芦苇中的箱子，就派她的女仆去取来。BSBBSB: Soon the daughter of Pharaoh went down to bathe in the Nile, and her attendants were walking along the riverbank. And when she saw the basket among the reeds, she sent her maidservant to retrieve it.
6. 6CMNSWCB她打开箱子，看见那孩子；看哪，那男婴哭了。她怜悯他，说：“这是希伯来人的孩子。”BSBBSB: When she opened it, she saw the child, and behold, the little boy was crying. So she had compassion on him and said, “This is one of the Hebrew children.”
7. 7CMNSWCB那时，孩子的姐姐对法老的女儿说：“要我去从希伯来妇女中给你叫一个乳母来，好为你奶养这孩子吗？”BSBBSB: Then his sister said to Pharaoh’s daughter, “Shall I go and call one of the Hebrew women to nurse the child for you?”
8. 8CMNSWCB法老的女儿对她说：“去吧。” 那少女就去叫了孩子的母亲来。BSBBSB: “Go ahead,” Pharaoh’s daughter told her. And the girl went and called the boy’s mother.
9. 9CMNSWCB法老的女儿对她说：“把这孩子带去，为我奶养他，我会给你工钱。” 那女人就把孩子带去，奶养他。BSBBSB: Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, “Take this child and nurse him for me, and I will pay your wages.” So the woman took the boy and nursed him.
10. 10CMNSWCB孩子长大了，她把他带到法老的女儿那里，他就成了她的儿子。她给他起名叫摩西，说：“因为我把他从水里拉出来。”BSBBSB: When the child had grown older, she brought him to Pharaoh’s daughter, and he became her son. She named him Moses and explained, “I drew him out of the water.”
11. 11CMNSWCB那些日子，摩西长大以后，出去到他的弟兄们那里，看他们所负的重担。他看见一个埃及人殴打一个希伯来人，就是他的一个弟兄。BSBBSB: One day, after Moses had grown up, he went out to his own people and observed their hard labor. He saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his own people.
12. 12CMNSWCB他左右观看，见没有人在那里，就杀了那个埃及人，把他藏在沙土里。BSBBSB: After looking this way and that and seeing no one, he struck down the Egyptian and hid his body in the sand.
13. 13CMNSWCB第二天他出去，看哪，有两个希伯来人彼此争斗。他对那做错事的人说：“你为什么打你的同伴？”BSBBSB: The next day Moses went out and saw two Hebrews fighting. He asked the one in the wrong, “Why are you attacking your companion?”
14. 14CMNSWCB那人说：“谁立你作我们的首领和审判官？难道你打算杀我，像杀那埃及人一样吗？” 摩西就害怕，说：“这事必定已经被人知道了。”BSBBSB: But the man replied, “Who made you ruler and judge over us? Are you planning to kill me as you killed the Egyptian?” Then Moses was afraid and thought, “This thing I have done has surely become known.”
15. 15CMNSWCB法老听见这事，就想要杀摩西。但摩西逃离法老面前，住在米甸地；他坐在一口井旁。BSBBSB: When Pharaoh heard about this matter, he sought to kill Moses. But Moses fled from Pharaoh and settled in the land of Midian, where he sat down beside a well.
16. 16CMNSWCB米甸的祭司有七个女儿。她们来打水，把水槽盛满，要给她们父亲的羊群喝。BSBBSB: Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters, and they came to draw water and fill the troughs to water their father’s flock.
17. 17CMNSWCB牧羊人来了，把她们赶走；摩西却站起来帮助她们，又给她们的羊群喝水。BSBBSB: And when some shepherds came along and drove them away, Moses rose up to help them and watered their flock.
18. 18CMNSWCB她们来到父亲流珥那里；他说：“你们今天怎么这么快就回来了？”BSBBSB: When the daughters returned to their father Reuel, he asked them, “Why have you returned so early today?”
19. 19CMNSWCB她们说：“有一个埃及人救我们脱离牧羊人的手，而且还为我们打水，给羊群喝。”BSBBSB: “An Egyptian rescued us from the shepherds,” they replied. “He even drew water for us and watered the flock.”
20. 20CMNSWCB他对女儿们说：“他在哪里？你们为什么把那人撇下了？叫他来吃饭。”BSBBSB: “So where is he?” their father asked. “Why did you leave the man behind? Invite him to have something to eat.”
21. 21CMNSWCB摩西愿意和那人同住。那人把自己的女儿西坡拉给了摩西。BSBBSB: Moses agreed to stay with the man, and he gave his daughter Zipporah to Moses in marriage.
22. 22CMNSWCB她生了一个儿子，摩西给他起名叫革舜，因为他说：“我在异乡作了寄居者。”BSBBSB: And she gave birth to a son, and Moses named him Gershom, saying, “I have become a foreigner in a foreign land.”
23. 23CMNSWCB过了许多日子，埃及王死了。以色列子孙因奴役而叹息，就哀求；他们因奴役发出的呼求上达到上帝那里。BSBBSB: After a long time, the king of Egypt died. The Israelites groaned and cried out under their burden of slavery, and their cry for deliverance from bondage ascended to God.
24. 24CMNSWCB上帝听见他们的呻吟，就记念祂与亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各所立的约。BSBBSB: So God heard their groaning, and He remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
25. 25CMNSWCB上帝看见以色列子孙；上帝也明白。BSBBSB: God saw the Israelites and took notice.
