1. 1CMNSWCB有一个法利赛人，名叫尼哥底母，是犹太人的官。BSBBSB: Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a leader of the Jews.
2. 2CMNSWCB他夜里来见耶稣，对祂说：“拉比，我们知道祢是由上帝那里来作老师的；因为祢所行的这些神迹，若没有上帝同在，无人能行。”BSBBSB: He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs You are doing if God were not with him.”
3. 3CMNSWCB耶稣回答说：“我确实地告诉你，人若不重生， 就不能看见上帝的国。”BSBBSB: Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.”
4. 4CMNSWCB尼哥底母对祂说：“人老了，怎么能重生呢？难道能再进母腹生出来吗？”BSBBSB: “How can a man be born when he is old?” Nicodemus asked. “Can he enter his mother’s womb a second time to be born?”
5. 5CMNSWCB耶稣回答：“我确实地告诉你，人若不是从水和圣灵生的，就不能进上帝的国。BSBBSB: Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.
6. 6CMNSWCB从肉体生的就是肉体，从圣灵生的就是灵。BSBBSB: Flesh is born of flesh, but spirit is born of the Spirit.
7. 7CMNSWCB不要因为我对你说‘你们必须重生’而感到惊讶。BSBBSB: Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again.’
8. 8CMNSWCB风随意吹， 你听见风的声音，却不知道它从哪里来，往哪里去。凡从圣灵生的，也是如此。”BSBBSB: The wind blows where it wishes. You hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
9. 9CMNSWCB尼哥底母问祂：“怎么会有这些事呢？”BSBBSB: “How can this be?” Nicodemus asked.
10. 10CMNSWCB耶稣回答他说：“你是以色列人的老师，还不明白这些事吗？BSBBSB: “You are Israel’s teacher,” said Jesus, “and you do not understand these things?
11. 11CMNSWCB我确实地告诉你，我们说的是我们知道的，见证的是我们见过的，你们却不领受我们的见证。BSBBSB: Truly, truly, I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, and yet you people do not accept our testimony.
12. 12CMNSWCB我对你们说地上的事，你们尚且不信，若对你们说天上的事，你们怎么能信呢？BSBBSB: If I have told you about earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you about heavenly things?
13. 13CMNSWCB除了从天降下、仍旧在天的人子，没有人升过天。BSBBSB: No one has ascended into heaven except the One who descended from heaven—the Son of Man.
14. 14CMNSWCB摩西在旷野怎样举蛇，人子也必照样被举起来，BSBBSB: Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up,
15. 15CMNSWCB叫一切信祂的，不致灭亡，反得永生。BSBBSB: that everyone who believes in Him may have eternal life.
16. 16CMNSWCB上帝爱世人，甚至将祂的独生 子赐给他们，叫一切信祂的，不致灭亡，反得永生。BSBBSB: For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
17. 17CMNSWCB因为上帝差祂的儿子降世，不是要审判世人，而是要叫世人藉着祂得救。BSBBSB: For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.
18. 18CMNSWCB信祂的人不被审判；不信的人罪已经定了，因为他不信上帝独生子的名。BSBBSB: Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
19. 19CMNSWCB光来到世上，世人因自己的行为是恶的，不爱光倒爱黑暗，这就是审判的缘由。BSBBSB: And this is the verdict: The Light has come into the world, but men loved the darkness rather than the Light because their deeds were evil.
20. 20CMNSWCB凡作恶的都恨光，不来就光，恐怕他的行为被暴露。BSBBSB: Everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come into the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.
21. 21CMNSWCB但遵行真理的就来就光，为要显明他的行为是靠着上帝而行的。”BSBBSB: But whoever practices the truth comes into the Light, so that it may be seen clearly that what he has done has been accomplished in God.”
22. 22CMNSWCB这些事以后，耶稣和门徒到了犹太地，祂在那里与他们同住，并且施洗。BSBBSB: After this, Jesus and His disciples went into the Judean countryside, where He spent some time with them and baptized.
23. 23CMNSWCB约翰也在靠近撒冷的哀嫩施洗，因为那里水多，众人也去受洗；BSBBSB: Now John was also baptizing at Aenon near Salim, because the water was plentiful there, and people kept coming to be baptized.
24. 24CMNSWCB那时约翰还没有被下在监里。BSBBSB: (For John had not yet been thrown into prison.)
25. 25CMNSWCB当时，约翰的门徒和几个犹太人为了洁净礼的事发生了争论。BSBBSB: Then a dispute arose between John’s disciples and a certain Jew over the issue of ceremonial washing.
26. 26CMNSWCB他们来到约翰那里，对他说：“拉比，从前同你在约旦河对岸、你为祂作见证的那位，看哪，祂现在正在施洗，众人都往祂那里去了。”BSBBSB: So John’s disciples came to him and said, “Look, Rabbi, the One who was with you beyond the Jordan, the One you testified about—He is baptizing, and everyone is going to Him.”
27. 27CMNSWCB约翰回答说：“若不是从天上赐的，人就不能得到什么。BSBBSB: John replied, “A man can receive only what is given him from heaven.
28. 28CMNSWCB你们自己可以为我作见证，我曾说过：‘我不是基督’，而是‘我是奉差遣在祂前面的’。BSBBSB: You yourselves can testify that I said, ‘I am not the Christ, but am sent ahead of Him.’
29. 29CMNSWCB娶新娘的是新郎；新郎的朋友站着听他说话，听见新郎的声音就非常喜乐。因此，我这喜乐满足了。BSBBSB: The bride belongs to the bridegroom. The friend of the bridegroom stands and listens for him, and is overjoyed to hear the bridegroom’s voice. That joy is mine, and it is now complete.
30. 30CMNSWCB祂必兴旺，我必衰微。BSBBSB: He must increase; I must decrease.
31. 31CMNSWCB“从上面来的是超越万有之上；从地上来的是属于地，所说的也是地上的事。从天上来的是超越万有之上。BSBBSB: The One who comes from above is above all. The one who is from the earth belongs to the earth and speaks as one from the earth. The One who comes from heaven is above all.
32. 32CMNSWCB祂将所见所闻的作见证，却没有人领受祂的见证。BSBBSB: He testifies to what He has seen and heard, yet no one accepts His testimony.
33. 33CMNSWCB那领受祂见证的，就印证了上帝是真实的。BSBBSB: Whoever accepts His testimony has certified that God is truthful.
34. 34CMNSWCB上帝所差来的，就说上帝的话，因为上帝将圣灵赐给祂是没有限量的。BSBBSB: For the One whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit.
35. 35CMNSWCB父爱子，已将万有交在祂手里。BSBBSB: The Father loves the Son and has placed all things in His hands.
36. 36CMNSWCB信子的人有永生；不顺从 子的人得不着生命，上帝的震怒常在他身上。”BSBBSB: Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life. Whoever rejects the Son will not see life. Instead, the wrath of God remains on him.”
