4 CPDV Generation after generation will praise your works, and they will declare your power. BSB BSB: One generation will commend Your works to the next, and will proclaim Your mighty acts—
5 CPDV They will tell of the magnificent glory of your sanctity. And they will discourse of your wonders. BSB BSB: the glorious splendor of Your majesty. And I will meditate on Your wondrous works.
6 CPDV And they will talk about the virtue of your terrible acts. And they will describe your greatness. BSB BSB: They will proclaim the power of Your awesome deeds, and I will declare Your greatness.
7 CPDV They will shout about the memory of your abundant sweetness. And they will exult in your justice. BSB BSB: They will extol the fame of Your abundant goodness and sing joyfully of Your righteousness.
8 CPDV The Lord is compassionate and merciful, patient and full of mercy. BSB BSB: The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in loving devotion.
9 CPDV The Lord is sweet to all things, and his compassion is upon all his works. BSB BSB: The LORD is good to all; His compassion rests on all He has made.
10 CPDV O Lord, may all your works confess to you, and let your holy ones bless you. BSB BSB: All You have made will give You thanks, O LORD, and Your saints will bless You.
11 CPDV They will speak of the glory of your kingdom, and they will declare your power, BSB BSB: They will tell of the glory of Your kingdom and speak of Your might,
12 CPDV so as to make known to the sons of men your power and the glory of your magnificent kingdom. BSB BSB: to make known to men Your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of Your kingdom.
13 CPDV Your kingdom is a kingdom for all ages, and your dominion is with all, from generation to generation. The Lord is faithful in all his words and holy in all his works. BSB BSB: Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD is faithful in all His words and kind in all His actions.
14 CPDV The Lord lifts up all who have fallen down, and he sets upright all who have been thrown down. BSB BSB: The LORD upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down.
15 CPDV O Lord, all eyes hope in you, and you provide their food in due time. BSB BSB: The eyes of all look to You, and You give them their food in season.
16 CPDV You open your hand, and you fill every kind of animal with a blessing. BSB BSB: You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.
17 CPDV The Lord is just in all his ways and holy in all his works. BSB BSB: The LORD is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His deeds.
18 CPDV The Lord is near to all who call upon him, to all who call upon him in truth. BSB BSB: The LORD is near to all who call on Him, to all who call out to Him in truth.
19 CPDV He will do the will of those who fear him, and he will heed their supplication and accomplish their salvation. BSB BSB: He fulfills the desires of those who fear Him; He hears their cry and saves them.
20 CPDV The Lord watches over all who love him. And he will destroy all sinners. BSB BSB: The LORD preserves all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy.
21 CPDV My mouth will speak the praise of the Lord, and may all flesh bless his holy name, in this time and forever and ever. BSB BSB: My mouth will declare the praise of the LORD; let every creature bless His holy name forever and ever.
