Praise the LORD from the Heavens (Psalm 33:1–22)
1 CPDV Alleluia. Praise the Lord from the heavens. Praise him on the heights. BSB BSB: Hallelujah! Praise the LORD from the heavens; praise Him in the highest places.
2 CPDV Praise him, all his Angels. Praise him, all his hosts. BSB BSB: Praise Him, all His angels; praise Him, all His heavenly hosts.
3 CPDV Praise him, sun and moon. Praise him, all stars and light. BSB BSB: Praise Him, O sun and moon; praise Him, all you shining stars.
4 CPDV Praise him, heavens of the heavens. And let all the waters that are above the heavens BSB BSB: Praise Him, O highest heavens, and you waters above the skies.
5 CPDV praise the name of the Lord. For he spoke, and they became. He commanded, and they were created. BSB BSB: Let them praise the name of the LORD, for He gave the command and they were created.
6 CPDV He has stationed them in eternity, and for age after age. He has established a precept, and it will not pass away. BSB BSB: He established them forever and ever; He issued a decree that will never pass away.
7 CPDV Praise the Lord from the earth: you dragons and all deep places, BSB BSB: Praise the LORD from the earth, all great sea creatures and ocean depths,
8 CPDV fire, hail, snow, ice, windstorms, which do his word, BSB BSB: lightning and hail, snow and clouds, powerful wind fulfilling His word,
9 CPDV mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars, BSB BSB: mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars,
10 CPDV wild beasts and all cattle, serpents and feathered flying things, BSB BSB: wild animals and all cattle, crawling creatures and flying birds,
11 CPDV kings of the earth and all peoples, leaders and all judges of the earth, BSB BSB: kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and all rulers of the earth,
12 CPDV young men and virgins. Let the older men with the younger men, praise the name of the Lord. BSB BSB: young men and maidens, old and young together.
13 CPDV For his name alone is exalted. BSB BSB: Let them praise the name of the LORD, for His name alone is exalted; His splendor is above the earth and the heavens.
14 CPDV Confession of him is beyond heaven and earth, and he has exalted the horn of his people. A hymn to all his holy ones, to the sons of Israel, to a people close to him. Alleluia. BSB BSB: He has raised up a horn for His people, the praise of all His saints, of Israel, a people near to Him. Hallelujah!
