2 DBY Bless Jehovah, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: BSB BSB: Bless the LORD, O my soul, and do not forget all His kind deeds—
3 DBY Who forgiveth all thine iniquities, who healeth all thy diseases; BSB BSB: He who forgives all your iniquities and heals all your diseases,
4 DBY Who redeemeth thy life from the pit, who crowneth thee with loving-kindness and tender mercies; BSB BSB: who redeems your life from the Pit and crowns you with loving devotion and compassion,
5 DBY Who satisfieth thine old age with good things ; thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. BSB BSB: who satisfies you with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
6 DBY Jehovah executeth righteousness and justice for all that are oppressed. BSB BSB: The LORD executes righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.
7 DBY He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel. BSB BSB: He made known His ways to Moses, His deeds to the people of Israel.
8 DBY Jehovah is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving-kindness. BSB BSB: The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in loving devotion.
9 DBY He will not always chide, neither will he keep his anger for ever. BSB BSB: He will not always accuse us, nor harbor His anger forever.
10 DBY He hath not dealt with us according to our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. BSB BSB: He has not dealt with us according to our sins or repaid us according to our iniquities.
11 DBY For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving-kindness toward them that fear him. BSB BSB: For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His loving devotion for those who fear Him.
12 DBY As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. BSB BSB: As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.
13 DBY As a father pitieth his children, so Jehovah pitieth them that fear him. BSB BSB: As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him.
14 DBY For himself knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust. BSB BSB: For He knows our frame; He is mindful that we are dust.
15 DBY As for man, his days are as grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth: BSB BSB: As for man, his days are like grass—he blooms like a flower of the field;
16 DBY For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone, and the place thereof knoweth it no more. BSB BSB: when the wind passes over, it vanishes, and its place remembers it no more.
17 DBY But the loving-kindness of Jehovah is from everlasting and to everlasting, upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children, BSB BSB: But from everlasting to everlasting the loving devotion of the LORD extends to those who fear Him, and His righteousness to their children’s children—
18 DBY To such as keep his covenant and to those that remember his precepts to do them. BSB BSB: to those who keep His covenant and remember to obey His precepts.
19 DBY Jehovah hath established his throne in the heavens, and his kingdom ruleth over all. BSB BSB: The LORD has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all.
20 DBY Bless Jehovah, ye his angels, mighty in strength, that execute his word, hearkening unto the voice of his word. BSB BSB: Bless the LORD, all His angels mighty in strength who carry out His word, who hearken to the voice of His command.
21 DBY Bless Jehovah, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his that do his will. BSB BSB: Bless the LORD, all His hosts, you servants who do His will.
22 DBY Bless Jehovah, all his works, in all places of his dominion. Bless Jehovah, O my soul! BSB BSB: Bless the LORD, all His works in all places of His dominion. Bless the LORD, O my soul!
