DBY A Song of degrees. Blessed is every one that feareth Jehovah, that walketh in his ways. BSB BSB: A song of ascents. Blessed are all who fear the LORD, who walk in His ways!
DBY For thou shalt eat the labour of thy hands; happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. BSB BSB: For when you eat the fruit of your labor, blessings and prosperity will be yours.
DBY Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine in the inner part of thy house; thy children like olive-plants round about thy table. BSB BSB: Your wife will be like a fruitful vine flourishing within your house, your sons like olive shoots sitting around your table.
DBY Behold, thus shall the man be blessed that feareth Jehovah. BSB BSB: In this way indeed shall blessing come to the man who fears the LORD.
DBY Jehovah will bless thee out of Zion; and mayest thou see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life, BSB BSB: May the LORD bless you from Zion, that you may see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life,
DBY And see thy children's children. Peace be upon Israel! BSB BSB: that you may see your children’s children. Peace be upon Israel!
