4 DBY One generation shall laud thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts. BSB BSB: One generation will commend Your works to the next, and will proclaim Your mighty acts—
5 DBY I will speak of the glorious splendour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works. BSB BSB: the glorious splendor of Your majesty. And I will meditate on Your wondrous works.
6 DBY And they shall tell of the might of thy terrible acts; and thy great deeds will I declare. BSB BSB: They will proclaim the power of Your awesome deeds, and I will declare Your greatness.
7 DBY They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. BSB BSB: They will extol the fame of Your abundant goodness and sing joyfully of Your righteousness.
8 DBY Jehovah is gracious and merciful; slow to anger, and of great loving-kindness. BSB BSB: The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in loving devotion.
9 DBY Jehovah is good to all; and his tender mercies are over all his works. BSB BSB: The LORD is good to all; His compassion rests on all He has made.
10 DBY All thy works shall praise thee, Jehovah, and thy saints shall bless thee. BSB BSB: All You have made will give You thanks, O LORD, and Your saints will bless You.
11 DBY They shall tell of the glory of thy kingdom, and speak of thy power; BSB BSB: They will tell of the glory of Your kingdom and speak of Your might,
12 DBY To make known to the children of men his mighty acts, and the glorious splendour of his kingdom. BSB BSB: to make known to men Your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of Your kingdom.
13 DBY Thy kingdom is a kingdom of all ages, and thy dominion is throughout all generations. BSB BSB: Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD is faithful in all His words and kind in all His actions.
14 DBY Jehovah upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all that are bowed down. BSB BSB: The LORD upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down.
15 DBY The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their food in its season. BSB BSB: The eyes of all look to You, and You give them their food in season.
16 DBY Thou openest thy hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing. BSB BSB: You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.
17 DBY Jehovah is righteous in all his ways, and kind in all his works. BSB BSB: The LORD is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His deeds.
18 DBY Jehovah is nigh unto all that call upon him, unto all that call upon him in truth. BSB BSB: The LORD is near to all who call on Him, to all who call out to Him in truth.
19 DBY He fulfilleth the desire of them that fear him; he heareth their cry, and saveth them. BSB BSB: He fulfills the desires of those who fear Him; He hears their cry and saves them.
20 DBY Jehovah keepeth all that love him, and all the wicked will he destroy. BSB BSB: The LORD preserves all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy.
21 DBY My mouth shall speak the praise of Jehovah; and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever. BSB BSB: My mouth will declare the praise of the LORD; let every creature bless His holy name forever and ever.
