Praise the LORD from the Heavens (Psalm 33:1–22)
1 DBY Hallelujah! Praise Jehovah from the heavens; praise him in the heights. BSB BSB: Hallelujah! Praise the LORD from the heavens; praise Him in the highest places.
2 DBY Praise ye him, all his angels; praise ye him, all his hosts. BSB BSB: Praise Him, all His angels; praise Him, all His heavenly hosts.
3 DBY Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all ye stars of light. BSB BSB: Praise Him, O sun and moon; praise Him, all you shining stars.
4 DBY Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that are above the heavens. BSB BSB: Praise Him, O highest heavens, and you waters above the skies.
5 DBY Let them praise the name of Jehovah, for he it is that commanded, and they were created: BSB BSB: Let them praise the name of the LORD, for He gave the command and they were created.
6 DBY And he established them for ever and ever; he made for them a statute which shall not pass. BSB BSB: He established them forever and ever; He issued a decree that will never pass away.
7 DBY Praise Jehovah from the earth, ye sea-monsters, and all deeps; BSB BSB: Praise the LORD from the earth, all great sea creatures and ocean depths,
8 DBY Fire and hail, snow and vapour, stormy wind fulfilling his word; BSB BSB: lightning and hail, snow and clouds, powerful wind fulfilling His word,
9 DBY Mountains and all hills, fruit-trees and all cedars; BSB BSB: mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars,
10 DBY Beasts and all cattle, creeping things and winged fowl; BSB BSB: wild animals and all cattle, crawling creatures and flying birds,
11 DBY Kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and all judges of the earth; BSB BSB: kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and all rulers of the earth,
12 DBY Both young men and maidens, old men with youths, — BSB BSB: young men and maidens, old and young together.
13 DBY Let them praise the name of Jehovah: for his name alone is exalted; his majesty is above the earth and the heavens. BSB BSB: Let them praise the name of the LORD, for His name alone is exalted; His splendor is above the earth and the heavens.
14 DBY And he hath lifted up the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints, even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Hallelujah! BSB BSB: He has raised up a horn for His people, the praise of all His saints, of Israel, a people near to Him. Hallelujah!
