Paul’s Greeting to the Ephesians (Acts 19:8–12; Revelation 2:1–7)

Spiritual Blessings (Romans 8:28–34)

11 DRA In whom we also are called by lot, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things according to the counsel of his will. 12 DRA That we may be unto the praise of his glory, we who before hoped Christ: BSB BSB: in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, would be for the praise of His glory.
13 DRA In whom you also, after you had heard the word of truth, (the gospel of your salvation;) in whom also believing, you were signed with the holy Spirit of promise, BSB BSB: And in Him, having heard and believed the word of truth—the gospel of your salvation—you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,
14 DRA Who is the pledge of our inheritance, unto the redemption of acquisition, unto the praise of his glory. BSB BSB: who is the pledge of our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession, to the praise of His glory.
Spiritual Wisdom (1 Corinthians 2:6–16)
15 DRA Wherefore I also, hearing of your faith that is in the Lord Jesus, and of your love towards all the saints, BSB BSB: For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,
16 DRA Cease not to give thanks for you, making commemoration of you in my prayers, BSB BSB: I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers,
17 DRA That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and of revelation, in the knowledge of him: BSB BSB: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in your knowledge of Him.
18 DRA The eyes of your heart enlightened, that you may know what the hope is of the glory of his inheritance in the saints. BSB BSB: I ask that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know the hope of His calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints,
19 DRA And what is the exceeding greatness of his power towards us, who believe according to the operation of the might of his power, BSB BSB: and the surpassing greatness of His power to us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of His mighty strength,
20 DRA Which he wrought in Christ, raising him up from the dead, and setting him on his right hand in the heavenly places. BSB BSB: which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms,
21 DRA Above all principality, and power, and virtue, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. 22 DRA And he hath subjected all things under his feet, and hath made him head over all the church, BSB BSB: And God put everything under His feet and made Him head over everything for the church,
23 DRA Which is his body, and the fulness of him who is filled all in all. BSB BSB: which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
