The Ephod (Exodus 28:6–14)
DRA And he made, of violet and purple, scarlet and fine linen, the vestments for Aaron to wear when he ministered in the holy places, as the Lord commanded Moses. BSB BSB: From the blue, purple, and scarlet yarn they made specially woven garments for ministry in the sanctuary, as well as the holy garments for Aaron, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
DRA So he made an ephod of gold, violet, and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine twisted linen. BSB BSB: Bezalel made the ephod of finely spun linen embroidered with gold, and with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn.
DRA With embroidered work: and he cut thin plates of gold, and drew them small into threads, that they might be twisted with the woof of the aforesaid colours, BSB BSB: They hammered out thin sheets of gold and cut threads from them to interweave with the blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and fine linen—the work of a skilled craftsman.
DRA And two borders coupled one to the other in the top on either side, BSB BSB: They made shoulder pieces for the ephod, which were attached at two of its corners, so it could be fastened.
DRA And a girdle of the same colours, as the Lord had commanded Moses. BSB BSB: And the skillfully woven waistband of the ephod was of one piece with the ephod, of the same workmanship—with gold, with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and with finely spun linen, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
DRA He prepared also two onyx stones, fast set and closed in gold, and graven by the art of a lapidary, with the names of the children of Israel: BSB BSB: They mounted the onyx stones in gold filigree settings, engraved like a seal with the names of the sons of Israel.
DRA And he set them in the sides of the ephod for a memorial of the children of Israel, as the Lord had commanded Moses. BSB BSB: Then they fastened them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod as memorial stones for the sons of Israel, as the LORD had commanded Moses.
The Breastpiece (Exodus 28:15–30)
DRA He made also a rational with embroidered work, according to the work of the ephod, of gold, violet, purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine twisted linen, BSB BSB: He made the breastpiece with the same workmanship as the ephod, with gold, with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and with finely spun linen.
DRA Foursquare, double, of the measure of a span. BSB BSB: It was square when folded over double, a span long and a span wide.
DRA And he set four rows of precious stones in it. In the first row was a sardius, a topaz, and emerald. BSB BSB: And they mounted on it four rows of gemstones: The first row had a ruby, a topaz, and an emerald;
DRA In the second, a carbuncle, a sapphire, and a jasper. BSB BSB: the second row had a turquoise, a sapphire, and a diamond;
DRA In the third, a ligurius, an agate, and an amethyst. BSB BSB: the third row had a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst;
DRA In the fourth, a chrysolite, an onyx, and a beryl, set and enclosed in gold by their rows. BSB BSB: and the fourth row had a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper. These stones were mounted in gold filigree settings.
DRA And the twelve stones were engraved with the names of the twelve tribes of Israel, each one with its several name. BSB BSB: The twelve stones corresponded to the names of the sons of Israel. Each stone was engraved like a seal with the name of one of the twelve tribes.
DRA They made also in the rational little chains linked one to another of the purest gold, BSB BSB: For the breastpiece they made braided chains like cords of pure gold.
DRA And two hooks, and as many rings of gold. And they set the rings on either side of the rational, BSB BSB: They also made two gold filigree settings and two gold rings, and fastened the two rings to the two corners of the breastpiece.
DRA On which rings the two golden chains should hang, which they put into the hooks that stood out in the corners of the ephod. BSB BSB: Then they fastened the two gold chains to the two gold rings at the corners of the breastpiece,
DRA These both before and behind so answered one another, that the ephod and the rational were bound together, BSB BSB: and they fastened the other ends of the two chains to the two filigree settings, attaching them to the shoulder pieces of the ephod at the front.
DRA Being fastened to the girdle and strongly coupled with rings, which a violet fillet joined, lest they should flag loose, and be moved one from the other, as the Lord commanded Moses. BSB BSB: They made two more gold rings and attached them to the other two corners of the breastpiece, on the inside edge next to the ephod.
DRA They made also the tunick of the ephod all of violet, BSB BSB: They made two additional gold rings and attached them to the bottom of the two shoulder pieces of the ephod, on its front, near the seam just above its woven waistband.
Additional Priestly Garments (Exodus 28:31–43)
DRA And a hole for the head in the upper part at the middle, and a woven border round about the hole: BSB BSB: They made the robe of the ephod entirely of blue cloth, the work of a weaver,
DRA And beneath at the feet pomegranates of violet, purple, scarlet, and fine twisted linen: BSB BSB: They made pomegranates of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn and finely spun linen on the lower hem of the robe.
DRA And little bells of the purest gold, which they put between the pomegranates at the bottom of the tunick round about: BSB BSB: They also made bells of pure gold and attached them around the hem between the pomegranates,
DRA To wit, a bell of gold, and a pomegranate, wherewith the high priest went adorned, when he discharged his ministry, as the Lord had commanded Moses. BSB BSB: alternating the bells and pomegranates around the lower hem of the robe to be worn for ministry, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
DRA They made also fine linen tunicks with woven work for Aaron and his sons: And mitres with their little crowns of fine linen: BSB BSB: For Aaron and his sons they made tunics of fine linen, the work of a weaver,
DRA And linen breeches of fine linen: BSB BSB: as well as the turban of fine linen, the ornate headbands and undergarments of finely spun linen,

DRA They made also the plate of sacred veneration of the purest gold, and they wrote on it with the engraving of a lapidary, The Holy of the Lord: BSB BSB: They also made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and they engraved on it, like an inscription on a seal: HOLY TO THE LORD.
DRA And they fastened it to the mitre with a violet fillet, as the Lord had commanded Moses. BSB BSB: Then they fastened to it a blue cord to mount it on the turban, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
Moses Approves the Work 32 DRA So all the work of the tabernacle and of the roof of the testimony was finished: and the children of Israel did all things which the Lord had commanded Moses. BSB BSB: So all the work for the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, was completed. The Israelites did everything just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
DRA And they offered the tabernacle and the roof and the whole furniture, the rings, the boards, the bars, the pillars, and their sockets, BSB BSB: Then they brought the tabernacle to Moses: the tent with all its furnishings, its clasps, its frames, its crossbars, and its posts and bases;
