Offerings for Unintentional Sins 22 DRA And if through ignorance you omit any of these things, which the Lord hath spoken to Moses, BSB BSB: Now if you stray unintentionally and do not obey all these commandments that the LORD has spoken to Moses—
DRA And by him hath commanded you, from the day that he began to command and thenceforward, BSB BSB: all that the LORD has commanded you through Moses from the day the LORD gave them and continuing through the generations to come—
DRA And the multitude have forgotten to do it: they shall offer a calf out of the herd, a holocaust for a most sweet savour to the Lord, and the sacrifice and libations thereof, as the ceremonies require, and a buck goat for sin: BSB BSB: and if it was done unintentionally without the knowledge of the congregation, then the whole congregation is to prepare one young bull as a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma to the LORD, with its grain offering and drink offering according to the regulation, and one male goat as a sin offering.
DRA And the priest shall pray for all the multitude of the children of Israel: and it shall be forgiven them, because they sinned ignorantly, offering notwithstanding a burnt offering to the Lord for themselves and for their sin and their ignorance: BSB BSB: The priest is to make atonement for the whole congregation of Israel, so that they may be forgiven; for the sin was unintentional and they have brought to the LORD a food offering and a sin offering, presented before the LORD for their unintentional sin.
DRA And it shall be forgiven all the people of the children of Israel: and the strangers that sojourn among them: because it is the fault of all the people through ignorance. BSB BSB: Then the whole congregation of Israel and the foreigners residing among them will be forgiven, since it happened to all the people unintentionally.

DRA And the priest shall pray for him, because he sinned ignorantly before the Lord: and he shall obtain his pardon, and it shall be forgiven him. BSB BSB: And the priest shall make atonement before the LORD on behalf of the person who erred by sinning unintentionally; and when atonement has been made for him, he will be forgiven.
DRA The same law shall be for all that sin by ignorance, whether they be natives or strangers. BSB BSB: You shall have the same law for the one who acts in error, whether he is a native-born Israelite or a foreigner residing among you.
DRA But the soul that committeth any thing through pride, whether he be born in the land or a stranger (because he hath been rebellious against the Lord) shall be cut off from among his people: BSB BSB: But the person who sins defiantly, whether a native or foreigner, blasphemes the LORD. That person shall be cut off from among his people.
DRA For he hath contemned the word the Lord, and made void his precept: therefore shall he be destroyed, and shall bear his iniquity. BSB BSB: He shall certainly be cut off, because he has despised the word of the LORD and broken His commandment; his guilt remains on him.”
A Sabbath-Breaker Stoned (Exodus 31:12–17)
DRA And it came to pass, when the children of Israel were in the wilderness, and had found a man gathering sticks on the sabbath day, BSB BSB: While the Israelites were in the wilderness, a man was found gathering wood on the Sabbath day.
DRA That they brought him to Moses and Aaron and the whole multitude. BSB BSB: Those who found the man gathering wood brought him to Moses, Aaron, and the whole congregation,
DRA And they put him into prison, not knowing what they should do with him. BSB BSB: and because it had not been declared what should be done to him, they placed him in custody.
DRA And the Lord said to Moses: Let that man die, let all the multitude stone him without the camp. BSB BSB: And the LORD said to Moses, “The man must surely be put to death. The whole congregation is to stone him outside the camp.”
DRA And when they had brought him out, they stoned him, and he died as the Lord had commanded. BSB BSB: So the whole congregation took the man outside the camp and stoned him to death, as the LORD had commanded Moses.
The Law of Tassels 37 DRA The Lord also said to Moses: BSB BSB: And the LORD said to Moses,
DRA Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt tell them I to make to themselves fringes in the corners of their garments, putting in them ribands of blue: BSB BSB: “Speak to the Israelites and tell them that throughout the generations to come they are to make for themselves tassels for the corners of their garments, with a blue cord on each tassel.
DRA That when they shall see them, they may remember all the commandments of the Lord, and not follow their own thoughts and eyes going astray after divers things, BSB BSB: These will serve as tassels for you to look at, so that you may remember all the commandments of the LORD, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves by following your own heart and your own eyes.
DRA But rather being mindful of the precepts of the Lord, may do them and be holy to their God. BSB BSB: Then you will remember and obey all My commandments, and you will be holy to your God.
DRA I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that I might be your God. BSB BSB: I am the LORD your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt to be your God. I am the LORD your God.”
