3 DRA Who forgiveth all thy iniquities: who healeth all thy diseases. BSB BSB: He who forgives all your iniquities and heals all your diseases,
4 DRA Who redeemeth thy life from destruction: who crowneth thee with mercy and compassion. BSB BSB: who redeems your life from the Pit and crowns you with loving devotion and compassion,
5 DRA Who satisfieth thy desire with good things: thy youth shall be renewed like the eagle’s. BSB BSB: who satisfies you with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
6 DRA The Lord doth mercies, and judgment for all that suffer wrong. BSB BSB: The LORD executes righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.
7 DRA He hath made his ways known to Moses: his wills to the children of Israel. BSB BSB: He made known His ways to Moses, His deeds to the people of Israel.
8 DRA The ford is compassionate and merciful: longsuffering and plenteous in mercy. BSB BSB: The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in loving devotion.
9 DRA He will not always be angry: nor will he threaten for ever. BSB BSB: He will not always accuse us, nor harbor His anger forever.
10 DRA He hath not dealt with us according to our sins: nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. BSB BSB: He has not dealt with us according to our sins or repaid us according to our iniquities.
11 DRA For according to the height of the heaven above the earth: he hath strengthened his mercy towards them that fear him. BSB BSB: For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His loving devotion for those who fear Him.
12 DRA As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our iniquities from us. BSB BSB: As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.
13 DRA As a father hath compassion on his children, so hath the Lord compassion on them that fear him: BSB BSB: As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him.
14 DRA For he knoweth our frame. He remembereth that we are dust: BSB BSB: For He knows our frame; He is mindful that we are dust.
15 DRA Man’s days are as grass, as the flower of the field so shall he flourish. BSB BSB: As for man, his days are like grass—he blooms like a flower of the field;
16 DRA For the spirit shall pass in him, and he shall not be: and he shall know his place no more. BSB BSB: when the wind passes over, it vanishes, and its place remembers it no more.
17 DRA But the mercy of the Lord is from eternity and unto eternity upon them that fear him: And his justice unto children’s children, BSB BSB: But from everlasting to everlasting the loving devotion of the LORD extends to those who fear Him, and His righteousness to their children’s children—
18 DRA To such as keep his covenant, And are mindful of his commandments to do them. BSB BSB: to those who keep His covenant and remember to obey His precepts.
19 DRA The Lord hath prepared his throne in heaven: and his kingdom shall rule over all. BSB BSB: The LORD has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all.
20 DRA Bless the Lord, all ye his angels: you that are mighty in strength, and execute his word, hearkening to the voice of his orders. BSB BSB: Bless the LORD, all His angels mighty in strength who carry out His word, who hearken to the voice of His command.
21 DRA Bless the Lord, all ye his hosts: you ministers of his that do his will. BSB BSB: Bless the LORD, all His hosts, you servants who do His will.
22 DRA Bless the Lord, all his works: in every place of his dominion, O my soul, bless thou the Lord. BSB BSB: Bless the LORD, all His works in all places of His dominion. Bless the LORD, O my soul!
