2 DRA Blessed are they who search his testimonies: that seek him with their whole heart. BSB BSB: Blessed are those who keep His testimonies and seek Him with all their heart.
3 DRA For they that work iniquity, have not walked in his ways. BSB BSB: They do no iniquity; they walk in His ways.
4 DRA Thou hast commanded thy commandments to be kept most diligently. BSB BSB: You have ordained Your precepts, that we should keep them diligently.
5 DRA O! that my ways may be directed to keep thy justifications. BSB BSB: Oh, that my ways were committed to keeping Your statutes!
6 DRA Then shall I not be confounded, when I shall look into all thy commandments. BSB BSB: Then I would not be ashamed when I consider all Your commandments.
7 DRA I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned the judgments of thy justice. BSB BSB: I will praise You with an upright heart when I learn Your righteous judgments.
8 DRA I will keep thy justifications: O! do not thou utterly forsake me. BSB BSB: I will keep Your statutes; do not utterly forsake me.
9 DRA BETH. By what doth a young man correct his way? by observing thy words. BSB BSB: How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to Your word.
10 DRA With my whole heart have I sought after thee: let me not stray from thy commandments. BSB BSB: With all my heart I have sought You; do not let me stray from Your commandments.
11 DRA Thy words have I hidden in my heart, that I may not sin against thee. BSB BSB: I have hidden Your word in my heart that I might not sin against You.
12 DRA Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy justifications. BSB BSB: Blessed are You, O LORD; teach me Your statutes.
13 DRA With my lips I have pronounced all the judgments of thy mouth. BSB BSB: With my lips I proclaim all the judgments of Your mouth.
14 DRA I have been delighted in the way of thy testimonies, as in all riches. BSB BSB: I rejoice in the way of Your testimonies as much as in all riches.
15 DRA I will meditate on thy commandments: and I will consider thy ways. BSB BSB: I will meditate on Your precepts and regard Your ways.
16 DRA I will think of thy justifications: I will not forget thy words. BSB BSB: I will delight in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word.
17 DRA GIMEL. Give bountifully to thy servant, enliven me: and I shall keep thy words. BSB BSB: Deal bountifully with Your servant, that I may live and keep Your word.
18 DRA Open thou my eyes: and I will consider the wondrous things of thy law. BSB BSB: Open my eyes that I may see wondrous things from Your law.
19 DRA I am a sojourner on the earth: hide not thy commandments from me. BSB BSB: I am a stranger on the earth; do not hide Your commandments from me.
20 DRA My soul hath coveted to long for thy justifications, at all times. BSB BSB: My soul is consumed with longing for Your judgments at all times.
21 DRA Thou hast rebuked the proud: they are cursed who decline from thy commandments. BSB BSB: You rebuke the arrogant—the cursed who stray from Your commandments.
22 DRA Remove from reproach and contempt: because I have sought after thy testimonies. BSB BSB: Remove my scorn and contempt, for I have kept Your testimonies.
23 DRA For princes sat, and spoke against me: but thy servant was employed in thy justifications. BSB BSB: Though rulers sit and slander me, Your servant meditates on Your statutes.
24 DRA For thy testimonies are my meditation: and thy justifications my counsel. BSB BSB: Your testimonies are indeed my delight; they are my counselors.
25 DRA DALETH. My soul hath cleaved to the pavement: quicken thou me according to thy word. BSB BSB: My soul cleaves to the dust; revive me according to Your word.
26 DRA I have declared my ways, and thou hast heard me: teach me thy justifications. BSB BSB: I recounted my ways, and You answered me; teach me Your statutes.
27 DRA Make me to understand the way of thy justifications: and I shall be exercised in thy wondrous works. BSB BSB: Make clear to me the way of Your precepts; then I will meditate on Your wonders.
28 DRA My soul hath slumbered through heaviness: strengthen thou me in thy words. BSB BSB: My soul melts with sorrow; strengthen me according to Your word.
29 DRA Remove from me the way of iniquity: and out of thy law have mercy on me. BSB BSB: Remove me from the path of deceit and graciously grant me Your law.
30 DRA I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments I have not forgotten. BSB BSB: I have chosen the way of truth; I have set Your ordinances before me.
31 DRA I have stuck to thy testimonies, O Lord: put me not to shame. BSB BSB: I cling to Your testimonies, O LORD; let me not be put to shame.
32 DRA I have run the way of thy commandments, when thou didst enlarge my heart. BSB BSB: I run in the path of Your commandments, for You will enlarge my heart.
33 DRA HE. Set before me for a law the way of thy justifications, O Lord: and I will always seek after it. BSB BSB: Teach me, O LORD, the way of Your statutes, and I will keep them to the end.
34 DRA Give me understanding, and I will search thy law; and I will keep it with my whole heart. BSB BSB: Give me understanding that I may obey Your law, and follow it with all my heart.
35 DRA Lead me into the path of thy commandments; for this same I have desired. BSB BSB: Direct me in the path of Your commandments, for there I find delight.
36 DRA Incline my heart into thy testimonies and not to covetousness. BSB BSB: Turn my heart to Your testimonies and not to covetous gain.
37 DRA Turn away my eyes that they may not behold vanity: quicken me in thy way. BSB BSB: Turn my eyes away from worthless things; revive me with Your word.
38 DRA Establish thy word to thy servant, in thy fear. BSB BSB: Establish Your word to Your servant, to produce reverence for You.
39 DRA Turn away my reproach, which I have apprehended: for thy judgments are delightful. BSB BSB: Turn away the disgrace I dread, for Your judgments are good.
40 DRA Behold I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy justice. BSB BSB: How I long for Your precepts! Revive me in Your righteousness.
41 DRA VAU. Let thy mercy also come upon me, O Lord: thy salvation according to thy word. BSB BSB: May Your loving devotion come to me, O LORD, Your salvation, according to Your promise.
42 DRA So shall I answer them that reproach me in any thing; that I have trusted in thy words. BSB BSB: Then I can answer him who taunts, for I trust in Your word.
43 DRA And take not thou the word of truth utterly out of my mouth: for in thy words have I hoped exceedingly. BSB BSB: Never take Your word of truth from my mouth, for I hope in Your judgments.
44 DRA So shall I always keep thy law, for ever and ever. BSB BSB: I will always obey Your law, forever and ever.
45 DRA And I walked at large: because I have sought after thy commandments. BSB BSB: And I will walk in freedom, for I have sought Your precepts.
46 DRA And I spoke of thy testimonies before kings: and I was not ashamed. BSB BSB: I will speak of Your testimonies before kings, and I will not be ashamed.
47 DRA I meditated also on thy commandments, which I loved. BSB BSB: I delight in Your commandments because I love them.
48 DRA And I lifted up my hands to thy commandments, which I loved: and I was exercised in thy justifications. BSB BSB: I lift up my hands to Your commandments, which I love, and I meditate on Your statutes.
49 DRA ZAIN. Be thou mindful of thy word to thy servant, in which thou hast given me hope. BSB BSB: Remember Your word to Your servant, upon which You have given me hope.
50 DRA This hath comforted me in my humiliation: because thy word hath enlivened me. BSB BSB: This is my comfort in affliction, that Your promise has given me life.
51 DRA The proud did iniquitously altogether: but I declined not from thy law. BSB BSB: The arrogant utterly deride me, but I do not turn from Your law.
52 DRA I remembered, O Lord, thy judgments of old: and I was comforted. BSB BSB: I remember Your judgments of old, O LORD, and in them I find comfort.
53 DRA A fainting hath taken hold of me, because of the wicked that forsake thy law. BSB BSB: Rage has taken hold of me because of the wicked who reject Your law.
54 DRA Thy justifications were the subject of my song, in the place of my pilgrimage. BSB BSB: Your statutes are songs to me in the house of my pilgrimage.
55 DRA In the night I have remembered thy name, O Lord: and have kept thy law. BSB BSB: In the night, O LORD, I remember Your name, that I may keep Your law.
56 DRA This happened to me: because I sought after thy justifications. BSB BSB: This is my practice, for I obey Your precepts.
57 DRA HETH. O Lord, my portion, I have said, I would keep the law. BSB BSB: The LORD is my portion; I have promised to keep Your words.
58 DRA I entreated thy face with all my heart: have mercy on me according to thy word. BSB BSB: I have sought Your face with all my heart; be gracious to me according to Your promise.
59 DRA I have thought on my ways: and turned my feet unto thy testimonies. BSB BSB: I considered my ways and turned my steps to Your testimonies.
60 DRA I am ready, and am not troubled: that I may keep thy commandments. BSB BSB: I hurried without hesitating to keep Your commandments.
61 DRA The cords of the wicked have encompassed me: but I have not forgotten thy law. BSB BSB: Though the ropes of the wicked bind me, I do not forget Your law.
62 DRA I rose at midnight to give praise to thee; for the judgments of thy justification. BSB BSB: At midnight I rise to give You thanks for Your righteous judgments.
63 DRA I am a partaker with all them that fear thee, and that keep thy commandments. BSB BSB: I am a friend to all who fear You, and to those who keep Your precepts.
64 DRA The earth, O Lord, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy justifications. BSB BSB: The earth is filled with Your loving devotion, O LORD; teach me Your statutes.
65 DRA TETH. Thou hast done well with thy servant, O Lord, according to thy word. BSB BSB: You are good to Your servant, O LORD, according to Your word.
66 DRA Teach me goodness and discipline and knowledge; for I have believed thy commandments. BSB BSB: Teach me good judgment and knowledge, for I believe in Your commandments.
67 DRA Before I was humbled I offended; therefore have I kept thy word. BSB BSB: Before I was afflicted, I went astray; but now I keep Your word.
68 DRA Thou art good; and in thy goodness teach me thy justifications. BSB BSB: You are good, and You do what is good; teach me Your statutes.
69 DRA The iniquity of the proud hath been multiplied over me: but I will seek thy commandments with my whole heart. BSB BSB: Though the arrogant have smeared me with lies, I keep Your precepts with all my heart.
70 DRA Their heart is curdled like milk: but I have meditated on thy law. BSB BSB: Their hearts are callous and insensitive, but I delight in Your law.
71 DRA It is good for me that thou hast humbled me, that I may learn thy justifications. BSB BSB: It was good for me to be afflicted, that I might learn Your statutes.
72 DRA The law of thy mouth is good to me, above thousands of gold and silver. BSB BSB: The law from Your mouth is more precious to me than thousands of pieces of gold and silver.
73 DRA JOD. Thy hands have made me and formed me: give me understanding, and I will learn thy commandments. BSB BSB: Your hands have made me and fashioned me; give me understanding to learn Your commandments.
74 DRA They that fear thee shall see me, and shall be glad: because I have greatly hoped in thy words. BSB BSB: May those who fear You see me and rejoice, for I have hoped in Your word.
75 DRA I know, O Lord, that thy judgments are equity: and in thy truth thou hast humbled me. BSB BSB: I know, O LORD, that Your judgments are righteous, and that in faithfulness You have afflicted me.
76 DRA O! let thy mercy be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant. BSB BSB: May Your loving devotion comfort me, I pray, according to Your promise to Your servant.
77 DRA Let thy tender mercies come unto me, and I shall live: for thy law is my meditation. BSB BSB: May Your compassion come to me, that I may live, for Your law is my delight.
78 DRA Let the proud be ashamed, because they have done unjustly towards me: but I will be employed in thy commandments. BSB BSB: May the arrogant be put to shame for subverting me with a lie; I will meditate on Your precepts.
79 DRA Let them that fear thee turn to me and they that know thy testimonies. BSB BSB: May those who fear You turn to me, those who know Your testimonies.
80 DRA Let my heart be undefiled in thy justifications, that I may not be confounded. BSB BSB: May my heart be blameless in Your statutes, that I may not be put to shame.
81 DRA CAPH. My soul hath fainted after thy salvation: and in thy word I have very much hoped. BSB BSB: My soul faints for Your salvation; I wait for Your word.
82 DRA My eyes have failed for thy word, saying: When wilt thou comfort me? BSB BSB: My eyes fail, looking for Your promise; I ask, “When will You comfort me?”
83 DRA For I am become like a bottle in the frost: I have not forgotten thy justifications. BSB BSB: Though I am like a wineskin dried up by smoke, I do not forget Your statutes.
84 DRA How many are the days of thy servant: when wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me? BSB BSB: How many days must Your servant wait? When will You execute judgment on my persecutors?
85 DRA The wicked have told me fables: but not as thy law. BSB BSB: The arrogant have dug pits for me in violation of Your law.
86 DRA All thy statutes are truth: they have persecuted me unjustly, do thou help me. BSB BSB: All Your commandments are faithful; I am persecuted without cause—help me!
87 DRA They had almost made an end of me upon earth: but I have not forsaken thy commandments. BSB BSB: They almost wiped me from the earth, but I have not forsaken Your precepts.
88 DRA Quicken thou me according to thy mercy: and I shall keep the testimonies of thy mouth. BSB BSB: Revive me according to Your loving devotion, that I may obey the testimony of Your mouth.
89 DRA LAMED. For ever, O Lord, thy word standeth firm in heaven. BSB BSB: Your word, O LORD, is everlasting; it is firmly fixed in the heavens.
90 DRA Thy truth unto all generations: thou hast founded the earth, and it continueth. BSB BSB: Your faithfulness continues through all generations; You established the earth, and it endures.

108 DRA The free offerings of my mouth make acceptable, O Lord: and teach me thy judgments. BSB BSB: Accept the freewill offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me Your judgments.

152 DRA I have known from the beginning concerning thy testimonies: that thou hast founded them for ever. BSB BSB: Long ago I learned from Your testimonies that You have established them forever.
153 DRA RES. See my humiliation and deliver me: for I have not forgotten the law. BSB BSB: Look upon my affliction and rescue me, for I have not forgotten Your law.

161 DRA SIN. Princes have persecuted me without cause: and my heart hath been in awe of thy words. BSB BSB: Rulers persecute me without cause, but my heart fears only Your word.
162 DRA I will rejoice at thy words, as one that hath found great spoil. BSB BSB: I rejoice in Your promise like one who finds great spoil.
163 DRA I have hated and abhorred iniquity; but I have loved thy law. BSB BSB: I hate and abhor falsehood, but Your law I love.

171 DRA My lips shall utter a hymn, when thou shalt teach me thy justifications. BSB BSB: My lips pour forth praise, for You teach me Your statutes.
172 DRA My tongue shall pronounce thy word: because all thy commandments are justice. BSB BSB: My tongue sings of Your word, for all Your commandments are righteous.
173 DRA Let thy hand be with me to save me; for I have chosen thy precepts. BSB BSB: May Your hand be ready to help me, for I have chosen Your precepts.
174 DRA I have longed for thy salvation, O Lord; and thy law is my meditation. BSB BSB: I long for Your salvation, O LORD, and Your law is my delight.
175 DRA My soul shall live and shall praise thee: and thy judgments shall help me. BSB BSB: Let me live to praise You; may Your judgments sustain me.
176 DRA I have gone astray like a sheep that is lost: seek thy servant, because I have not forgotten thy commandments. BSB BSB: I have strayed like a lost sheep; seek Your servant, for I have not forgotten Your commandments.
