When I called upon him, the God of my justice heard me: when I was in distress, thou hast enlarged me. Have mercy on me: and hear my prayer. BSB BSB: For the choirmaster. With stringed instruments. A Psalm of David. Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have relieved my distress; show me grace and hear my prayer.
2 DRA O ye sons of men, how long will you be dull of heart? why do you love vanity, and seek after lying? BSB BSB: How long, O men, will my honor be maligned? How long will you love vanity and seek after lies? Selah
3 DRA Know ye also that the Lord hath made his holy one wonderful: the Lord will hear me when I shall cry unto him. BSB BSB: Know that the LORD has set apart the godly for Himself; the LORD hears when I call to Him.
4 DRA Be angry, and sin not: the things you say in your hearts, be sorry for them upon your beds. BSB BSB: Be angry, yet do not sin; on your bed, search your heart and be still. Selah
5 DRA Offer up the sacrifice of justice, and trust in the Lord: many say, Who sheweth us good things? BSB BSB: Offer the sacrifices of the righteous and trust in the LORD.
6 DRA The light of thy countenance O Lord, is signed upon us: thou hast given gladness in my heart. BSB BSB: Many ask, “Who can show us the good?” Shine the light of Your face upon us, O LORD.
7 DRA By the fruit of their corn, their wine and oil, they are multiplied. BSB BSB: You have filled my heart with more joy than when grain and new wine abound.
8 DRA In peace in the selfsame I will sleep, and I will rest: BSB BSB: I will lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.
