4. 3ENGOJBFor if anyone thinks himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.BSBBSB: If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
5. 4ENGOJBBut let each man prove his own ma'aseh and then in his own ma'asim rather than in that of his re'a (neighbor) he will find kavod.BSBBSB: Each one should test his own work. Then he will have reason to boast in himself alone, and not in someone else.
6. 5ENGOJBFor each man must bear his own massa (burden).BSBBSB: For each one should carry his own load.
7. 6ENGOJBAnd let the one being taught limudei kodesh (sacred studies) in the Kitvei HaKodesh share in all good things with his rabbinic moreh.BSBBSB: Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word must share in all good things with his instructor.
8. 7ENGOJBDo not be led astray. Hashem is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, this also he will reap.BSBBSB: Do not be deceived: God is not to be mocked. Whatever a man sows, he will reap in return.

10. 9ENGOJBNow let us not lose chozek in doing Gemilut Chasadim, for BE'ITO (in its season) we will reap, if we faint not.BSBBSB: Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
11. 10ENGOJBTherefore, then, as we have opportunity, we should do ma'asim tovim towards all, and especially towards the Bnei Beis HaEmunah.BSBBSB: Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to the family of faith.

13. 11ENGOJBsee with what groise letters i wrote to you with my own hand.BSBBSB: See what large letters I am using to write to you with my own hand!
14. 12ENGOJBAs many as crave to be good preeners in the basar, these compel you (Goyim) to undergo bris milah; they (the mohalim of Goyim) do so only to avoid suffering redifah (persecution) for the Etz of Moshiach.BSBBSB: Those who want to make a good impression outwardly are trying to compel you to be circumcised. They only do this to avoid persecution for the cross of Christ.
15. 13ENGOJBFor not even those of the party of the bris milah are shomer mitzvot themselves; they (the mohalim of Goyim) want you (Goyim) to undergo bris milah for the purpose of boasting in your basar!BSBBSB: For the circumcised do not even keep the law themselves, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast in your flesh.
16. 14ENGOJBBut may it not be to me to boast, except in HaEtz HaMoshiach Yehoshua Adoneinu, through whom the Olam Hazeh has become nevelah talui al HaEtz (corpse hanging on the tree) to me, and I have become a nevelah talui al HaEtz (corpse hanging on the tree) to the Olam Hazeh.BSBBSB: But as for me, may I never boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
17. 15ENGOJBFor neither bris milah is anything, nor fehlt (the lacking) of bris milah, but a Bri'a Chadasha.BSBBSB: For neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything. What counts is a new creation.
