BSB BSB: But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? For everything comes from You, and from Your own hand we have given to You.
15 UDB You know that we are like foreigners and strangers to you, as our ancestors were. Our years here on earth are like a shadow that disappears quickly; we know that there is nothing that can enable us to escape dying. All these things I have given willingly and with an upright heart, and now I have seen Your people who are present here giving joyfully and willingly to You.
18 UDB Yahweh, the God whom our ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob worshiped, I desire that your people will continue to desire to do things like this forever and that they will always be loyal to you. BSB BSB: O LORD, God of our fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, keep this desire forever in the intentions of the hearts of Your people, and direct their hearts toward You.
19 UDB And now, please enable my son Solomon to faithfully and sincerely do everything that is needed to build this beautiful building for which I have provided all these things."
