Psalm 138 138 Psalms Book 5 Unlocked Dynamic Bible A Thankful Heart 1 UDB Yahweh, I thank you with all my inner being. I sing to praise you, even though many people worship idols. BSB BSB: Of David. I give You thanks with all my heart; before the gods I sing Your praises.
UDB When I look toward your sacred temple, I bow down and thank you because you faithfully love us and do all that you have promised. BSB BSB: I bow down toward Your holy temple and give thanks to Your name for Your loving devotion and Your faithfulness; You have exalted Your name and Your word above all else.
UDB When I called out to you, you answered me; you enabled me to be strong and brave. BSB BSB: On the day I called, You answered me; You emboldened me and strengthened my soul.
UDB Yahweh, someday all the kings of this earth will praise you because they will have heard what you have said. BSB BSB: All the kings of the earth will give You thanks, O LORD, when they hear the words of Your mouth.
UDB They will sing about what you have done; they will sing and say that you are very great. BSB BSB: They will sing of the ways of the LORD, for the glory of the LORD is great.
UDB Yahweh, you are supreme, but you take care of people who are considered to be unimportant. However, you do not show yourself as faithful to proud people. BSB BSB: Though the LORD is on high, He attends to the lowly; but the proud He knows from afar.
UDB When I am in the middle of many troubles, you save me. With your hand you rescue me from my enemies who are angry at me. BSB BSB: If I walk in the midst of trouble, You preserve me from the anger of my foes; You extend Your hand, and Your right hand saves me.
UDB Yahweh, you will do for me everything that you promised; you faithfully love us forever. Finish what you started to do for us, your Israelite people! BSB BSB: The LORD will fulfill His purpose for me. O LORD, Your loving devotion endures forever—do not abandon the works of Your hands.
