4 UDB Parents will tell their children the things that you have done; they will tell their children about your mighty deeds. BSB BSB: One generation will commend Your works to the next, and will proclaim Your mighty acts—
5 UDB I will think about how you are very glorious and majestic, and I will meditate on all your wonderful deeds. BSB BSB: the glorious splendor of Your majesty. And I will meditate on Your wondrous works.
6 UDB People will speak about your powerful and awesome deeds, and I will proclaim that you are very great. BSB BSB: They will proclaim the power of Your awesome deeds, and I will declare Your greatness.
7 UDB People will remember and proclaim that you are very good to us, and they will sing joyfully that you always act justly. BSB BSB: They will extol the fame of Your abundant goodness and sing joyfully of Your righteousness.
8 UDB Yahweh, you act kindly and mercifully toward us; you do not quickly become angry; you faithfully love us very much as you have promised to do. BSB BSB: The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in loving devotion.
9 UDB Yahweh, you are good to everyone, and you act mercifully to everything that you have made. BSB BSB: The LORD is good to all; His compassion rests on all He has made.
10 UDB Yahweh, all the creatures that you made will thank you, and all your people will praise you. BSB BSB: All You have made will give You thanks, O LORD, and Your saints will bless You.
11 UDB They will tell others that you rule very gloriously as our king and that you are very powerful. BSB BSB: They will tell of the glory of Your kingdom and speak of Your might,
12 UDB They will do that so that everyone will know about your powerful deeds and that you rule over us gloriously. BSB BSB: to make known to men Your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of Your kingdom.
13 UDB You will never stop being king; you will rule throughout all generations. BSB BSB: Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD is faithful in all His words and kind in all His actions.
14 UDB Yahweh, you help all those who are discouraged, and you lift up all those who have lost hope. BSB BSB: The LORD upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down.
15 UDB All of the creatures that you made expect that you will provide food for them, and you give them food when they need it. BSB BSB: The eyes of all look to You, and You give them their food in season.
16 UDB You give food to all living creatures generously, and you cause them to be satisfied. BSB BSB: You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.
17 UDB Everything that Yahweh does, he does justly; all that he does, he does mercifully. BSB BSB: The LORD is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His deeds.
18 UDB Yahweh comes near to all those who call out to him, to those who call to him sincerely. BSB BSB: The LORD is near to all who call on Him, to all who call out to Him in truth.
19 UDB To all those who have an awesome respect for him, he gives what they need. He hears them when they cry out to him and he saves them. BSB BSB: He fulfills the desires of those who fear Him; He hears their cry and saves them.
20 UDB Yahweh protects all those who love him, but he will get rid of all the wicked people. BSB BSB: The LORD preserves all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy.
21 UDB I will always praise Yahweh; I wish that all people everywhere may praise him forever, for he does everything perfectly. BSB BSB: My mouth will declare the praise of the LORD; let every creature bless His holy name forever and ever.
