2 UDB That city on a high hill is beautiful; it is the city where the true God, the great king, lives, and it causes people all over the world to rejoice when they see it. BSB BSB: Beautiful in loftiness, the joy of all the earth, like the peaks of Zaphon is Mount Zion, the city of the great King.
3 UDB God is in the strong towers there, and he shows that he protects the people in that city. BSB BSB: God is in her citadels; He has shown Himself to be a fortress.

9 UDB God, here in your temple we think about how you love us as you promised to do. BSB BSB: Within Your temple, O God, we contemplate Your loving devotion.
10 UDB People all over the earth will praise you because you rule powerfully and justly. BSB BSB: Your name, O God, like Your praise, reaches to the ends of the earth; Your right hand is full of righteousness.
11 UDB The people who live at Mount Zion should be happy! The people in all the cities of Judah should rejoice because you judge people fairly. BSB BSB: Mount Zion is glad, the daughters of Judah rejoice, on account of Your judgments.
12 UDB You Israelite people should walk around Mount Zion and count the towers there; BSB BSB: March around Zion, encircle her, count her towers,
13 UDB notice the walls there and examine their strongest parts so that you can tell your children about them. BSB BSB: consider her ramparts, tour her citadels, that you may tell the next generation.
14 UDB Say to your children, "This is the city of our God, the one who lives forever; he will guide us during all of our lives." BSB BSB: For this God is our God forever and ever; He will be our guide even till death.
