Psalm 61 61 Psalms Book 2 Unlocked Dynamic Bible You Have Heard My Vows 1 UDB God, listen to me and answer my prayer. BSB BSB: For the choirmaster. With stringed instruments. Of David. Hear my cry, O God; attend to my prayer.
UDB While I am discouraged and far from my home, I am calling out to you. Lead me to a place that will be like a high rock on top of which I will be safe. BSB BSB: From the ends of the earth I call out to You whenever my heart is faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
UDB You have been my refuge; you have been like a strong tower in which my enemies cannot attack me. BSB BSB: For You have been my refuge, a tower of strength against the enemy.
UDB Allow me to live close to your sacred tent all during my life! Allow me to be safe as a little bird is safe under its mother's wings. BSB BSB: Let me dwell in Your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of Your wings. Selah
UDB God, you heard me when I solemnly promised to give offerings to you; you have given to me the blessings that belong to those who have an awesome respect for you. BSB BSB: For You have heard my vows, O God; You have given me the inheritance reserved for those who fear Your name.
UDB I am the king of Israel; please allow me to live and rule for many years, and allow my descendants to rule also. BSB BSB: Increase the days of the king’s life; may his years span many generations.
UDB Allow us to rule forever while you observe us; watch over us while you faithfully love us and do for us what you promised. BSB BSB: May he sit enthroned in God’s presence forever; appoint Your loving devotion and Your faithfulness to guard him.
UDB If you do that, I will always sing to praise you while I offer to you each day the sacrifices that I promised to give to you. BSB BSB: Then I will ever sing praise to Your name and fulfill my vows day by day.
