2. 1UEBMoses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, which is opposite Jericho. There Yahweh showed him all the land of Gilead as far as Dan,BSBBSB: Then Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, which faces Jericho. 3. 2UEBand all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, to the western sea,BSBBSB: all of Naphtali, the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, all the land of Judah as far as the Western Sea,
4. 3UEBand the Negev, and the plain of the Valley of Jericho, the City of Palms, as far as Zoar.BSBBSB: the Negev, and the region from the Valley of Jericho (the City of Palms) all the way to Zoar.
5. 4UEBYahweh said to him, "This is the land that I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, 'I will give it to your descendants.' I have allowed you to look at it with your eyes, but you will not go over there."BSBBSB: And the LORD said to him, “This is the land that I swore to give Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob when I said, ‘I will give it to your descendants.’ I have let you see it with your own eyes, but you will not cross into it.”
6. 5UEBSo Moses the servant of Yahweh, died there in the land of Moab, as the word of Yahweh promised.BSBBSB: So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, as the LORD had said.
7. 6UEBYahweh buried him in the valley in the land of Moab opposite Beth Peor, but no one knows where his grave is to this day.BSBBSB: And He buried him in a valley in the land of Moab facing Beth-peor, and no one to this day knows the location of his grave.
8. 7UEBMoses was one hundred twenty years old when he died; his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.BSBBSB: Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died, yet his eyes were not weak, and his vitality had not diminished.
9. 8UEBThe people of Israel mourned for Moses in the plains of Moab for thirty days, and then the days of mourning for Moses were finished.BSBBSB: The Israelites grieved for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days, until the time of weeping and mourning for Moses came to an end.
10. 9UEBJoshua son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him. The people of Israel listened to him and did what Yahweh had commanded Moses.BSBBSB: Now Joshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom because Moses had laid his hands on him. So the Israelites obeyed him and did as the LORD had commanded Moses.
11. 10UEBThere has not arisen a prophet since in Israel like Moses, whom Yahweh knew face to face.BSBBSB: Since that time, no prophet has risen in Israel like Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face—
12. 11UEBThere has never been any prophet like him in all the signs and wonders that Yahweh sent him to do in the land of Egypt, to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land.BSBBSB: no prophet who did all the signs and wonders that the LORD sent Moses to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh and to all his officials and all his land,
13. 12UEBThere has never been any prophet like him in all the great, fearsome deeds that Moses did in the sight of all Israel.BSBBSB: and no prophet who performed all the mighty acts of power and awesome deeds that Moses did in the sight of all Israel.
