6 UEB Yahweh does what is fair and does acts of justice for all who are oppressed. BSB BSB: The LORD executes righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.
7 UEB He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the descendants of Israel. BSB BSB: He made known His ways to Moses, His deeds to the people of Israel.
8 UEB Yahweh is merciful and gracious; he is patient; he has great covenant loyalty. BSB BSB: The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in loving devotion.
9 UEB He will not always discipline; he is not always angry. BSB BSB: He will not always accuse us, nor harbor His anger forever.
10 UEB He does not deal with us as our sins deserve or repay us for what our sins demand. BSB BSB: He has not dealt with us according to our sins or repaid us according to our iniquities.
11 UEB For as the skies are high above the earth, so great is his covenant faithfulness toward those who honor him. BSB BSB: For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His loving devotion for those who fear Him.
12 UEB As far as the east is from the west, this is how far he has removed the guilt of our sins from us. BSB BSB: As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.
13 UEB As a father has compassion on his children, so Yahweh has compassion on those who honor him. BSB BSB: As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him.
14 UEB For he knows how we are formed; he knows that we are dust. BSB BSB: For He knows our frame; He is mindful that we are dust.
15 UEB As for man, his days are like grass; he flourishes like a flower in a field. BSB BSB: As for man, his days are like grass—he blooms like a flower of the field;
16 UEB The wind blows over it, and it disappears, and no one can even tell where it once grew. BSB BSB: when the wind passes over, it vanishes, and its place remembers it no more.
17 UEB But the covenant faithfulness of Yahweh is from everlasting to everlasting on those who honor him. His righteousness extends to their descendants. BSB BSB: But from everlasting to everlasting the loving devotion of the LORD extends to those who fear Him, and His righteousness to their children’s children—
18 UEB They keep his covenant and remember to obey his instructions. BSB BSB: to those who keep His covenant and remember to obey His precepts.
19 UEB Yahweh has established his throne in the heavens, and his kingdom rules over everyone. BSB BSB: The LORD has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all.
20 UEB Give praise to Yahweh, you his angels, you mighty ones who are strong and do his word, and obey the sound of his word. BSB BSB: Bless the LORD, all His angels mighty in strength who carry out His word, who hearken to the voice of His command.
21 UEB Give praise to Yahweh, all his hosts, you are his servants who carry out his will. BSB BSB: Bless the LORD, all His hosts, you servants who do His will.
22 UEB Give praise to Yahweh, all his creatures, in all the places where he reigns. I will give praise to Yahweh with all my life. BSB BSB: Bless the LORD, all His works in all places of His dominion. Bless the LORD, O my soul!
