Psalm 125 125 Psalms Book 5 Unlocked English Bible The LORD Surrounds His People 1 UEB Those who trust in Yahweh are like Mount Zion, unshakable, forever enduring. BSB BSB: A song of ascents. Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion. It cannot be moved; it abides forever.
UEB As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so Yahweh surrounds his people now and forever. BSB BSB: As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds His people, both now and forevermore.
UEB The scepter of wickedness must not rule in the land of the righteous. Otherwise the righteous might do what is wrong. BSB BSB: For the scepter of the wicked will not rest upon the land allotted to the righteous, so that the righteous will not put forth their hands to injustice.
UEB Do good, Yahweh, to those who are good and to those who are upright in their hearts. BSB BSB: Do good, O LORD, to those who are good, and to the upright in heart.
UEB But as for those who turn aside to their crooked ways, Yahweh will lead them away with the evildoers. May peace be on Israel. BSB BSB: But those who turn to crooked ways the LORD will banish with the evildoers. Peace be upon Israel.
