2 UEB For I have said, "Covenant faithfulness has been established forever; your truthfulness you have established in the heavens." BSB BSB: For I have said, “Loving devotion is built up forever; in the heavens You establish Your faithfulness.”
3 UEB "I have made a covenant with my chosen one, I have made an oath to David my servant. BSB BSB: You said, “I have made a covenant with My chosen one, I have sworn to David My servant:
4 UEB I will establish your descendants forever, and I will establish your throne through all generations." Selah BSB BSB: ‘I will establish your offspring forever and build up your throne for all generations.’” Selah

7 UEB He is a God who is greatly honored in the council of the holy ones and is awesome among all who surround him. BSB BSB: In the council of the holy ones, God is greatly feared, and awesome above all who surround Him.
8 UEB Yahweh God of hosts, who is strong like you, Yahweh? Your truthfulness surrounds you. BSB BSB: O LORD God of Hosts, who is like You? O mighty LORD, Your faithfulness surrounds You.
9 UEB You rule the raging sea; when the waves surge, you calm them. BSB BSB: You rule the raging sea; when its waves mount up, You still them.

20 UEB I have chosen David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him. BSB BSB: I have found My servant David; with My sacred oil I have anointed him.
21 UEB My hand will support him; my arm will strengthen him. BSB BSB: My hand will sustain him; surely My arm will strengthen him.
22 UEB No enemy will deceive him; no son of wickedness will oppress him. BSB BSB: No enemy will exact tribute; no wicked man will oppress him.
23 UEB I will crush his enemies before him; I will kill those who hate him. BSB BSB: I will crush his foes before him and strike down those who hate him.
24 UEB My truth and my covenant faithfulness will be with him; by my name he will be victorious. BSB BSB: My faithfulness and loving devotion will be with him, and through My name his horn will be exalted.

27 UEB I also will place him as my firstborn son, the most exalted of the kings of the earth. BSB BSB: I will indeed appoint him as My firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth.
28 UEB I will extend my covenant faithfulness to him forever; and my covenant with him will be secure. BSB BSB: I will forever preserve My loving devotion for him, and My covenant with him will stand fast.
29 UEB I will make his descendants endure forever and his throne as enduring as the skies above. BSB BSB: I will establish his line forever, his throne as long as the heavens endure.
30 UEB If his children forsake my law and do not walk in my regulations, BSB BSB: If his sons forsake My law and do not walk in My judgments,
31 UEB if they break my rules and do not keep my commands, BSB BSB: if they violate My statutes and fail to keep My commandments,
32 UEB then will I punish their rebellion with a rod and their iniquity with blows. BSB BSB: I will attend to their transgression with the rod, and to their iniquity with stripes.
33 UEB But I will not remove my steadfast love from him or be unfaithful to my promise. BSB BSB: But I will not withdraw My loving devotion from him, nor ever betray My faithfulness.
34 UEB I will not break my covenant or change the words of my lips. BSB BSB: I will not violate My covenant or alter the utterance of My lips.
35 UEB Once and for all I have sworn by my holiness— I will not lie to David: BSB BSB: Once and for all I have sworn by My holiness—I will not lie to David—
36 UEB his descendants will continue forever and his throne as long as the sun before me. BSB BSB: his offspring shall endure forever, and his throne before Me like the sun,

38 UEB But you have refused and rejected; you have been angry with your anointed king. BSB BSB: Now, however, You have spurned and rejected him; You are enraged by Your anointed one.

50 UEB Call to mind, Lord, the mocking directed against your servants and how I bear in my heart so many insults from the nations. BSB BSB: Remember, O Lord, the reproach of Your servants, which I bear in my heart from so many people—
51 UEB Your enemies hurl insults, Yahweh; they mock the footsteps of your anointed one. BSB BSB: how Your enemies have taunted, O LORD, and have mocked every step of Your anointed one!
