ULT The happinesses of the man who walks not in the advice of the wicked, and stands not in the pathway of sinners, and sits not in the seat of scoffers, BSB BSB: Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, or set foot on the path of sinners, or sit in the seat of mockers.
ULT but in the instruction of Yahweh{ is} his delight, and in his instruction he meditates day and night. BSB BSB: But his delight is in the Law of the LORD, and on His law he meditates day and night.
ULT And he is like a tree set to grow by streams of water, which gives its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither, and he makes successful all that he does. BSB BSB: He is like a tree planted by streams of water, yielding its fruit in season, whose leaf does not wither, and who prospers in all he does.
ULT Not so the wicked! But{ they are} like the chaff that wind chases away. BSB BSB: Not so the wicked! For they are like chaff driven off by the wind.
ULT Thus the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. BSB BSB: Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
ULT For Yahweh knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish. BSB BSB: For the LORD guards the path of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.
