2 ULT Then our mouth was filled{ with} laughter, and our tongue{ with} a shout of joy. Then they said among the nations,“Yahweh has made great to do with these.” BSB BSB: Then our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with shouts of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.”
3 ULT Yahweh has made great to do with us; we are joyful. BSB BSB: The LORD has done great things for us; we are filled with joy.
4 ULT Return, Yahweh, our captivity, like the streams in the Negev. BSB BSB: Restore our captives, O LORD, like streams in the Negev.
5 ULT The ones sowing in tears will reap in a shout of joy. BSB BSB: Those who sow in tears will reap with shouts of joy.
6 ULT Going, he may go and weeping, carrying the bag of seed. Coming, he will come in a shout of joy, carrying his sheaves. BSB BSB: He who goes out weeping, bearing a trail of seed, will surely return with shouts of joy, carrying sheaves of grain.
