Praise the LORD from the Heavens (Psalm 33:1–22)
1 ULT Hallelu Yah! Praise Yahweh from the heavens; praise him in the heights. BSB BSB: Hallelujah! Praise the LORD from the heavens; praise Him in the highest places.
2 ULT Praise him, all of his angels; praise him, all of his armies. BSB BSB: Praise Him, all His angels; praise Him, all His heavenly hosts.
3 ULT Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all of the stars of light. BSB BSB: Praise Him, O sun and moon; praise Him, all you shining stars.
4 ULT Praise him, heavens of the heavens, and the waters that{ are} above the heavens. BSB BSB: Praise Him, O highest heavens, and you waters above the skies.
5 ULT Let them praise the name of Yahweh, for he, he commanded, and they were created. BSB BSB: Let them praise the name of the LORD, for He gave the command and they were created.
6 ULT And he established them forever and ever; he gave a decree, and it will not pass away. BSB BSB: He established them forever and ever; He issued a decree that will never pass away.
7 ULT Praise Yahweh from the earth, sea creatures and all depths, BSB BSB: Praise the LORD from the earth, all great sea creatures and ocean depths,
8 ULT fire and hail, snow and vapor, wind of tempest, doing his word, BSB BSB: lightning and hail, snow and clouds, powerful wind fulfilling His word,
9 ULT mountains and all hills, tree of fruit and all cedars, BSB BSB: mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars,
10 ULT the living{ creature} and every beast, the creeper and the bird of wing, BSB BSB: wild animals and all cattle, crawling creatures and flying birds,
11 ULT kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and all judges of the earth, BSB BSB: kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and all rulers of the earth,
12 ULT young men and also young women, old men with youths. BSB BSB: young men and maidens, old and young together.
13 ULT Let them praise the name of Yahweh, for his name alone is exalted; his splendor{ is} over the earth and the heavens. BSB BSB: Let them praise the name of the LORD, for His name alone is exalted; His splendor is above the earth and the heavens.
14 ULT And he has raised up a horn for his people, praise for all of his faithful, for the sons of Israel, a people near to him. Hallelu Yah! BSB BSB: He has raised up a horn for His people, the praise of all His saints, of Israel, a people near to Him. Hallelujah!
