Psalm 43 43 Psalms Book 2 unfoldingWord® Literal Text Send Out Your Light 1 ULT Vindicate me, God, and plead my plea against a nation not faithful. Rescue me from a deceitful and unjust man. BSB BSB: Vindicate me, O God, and plead my case against an ungodly nation; deliver me from deceitful and unjust men.
ULT For you{ are} the God of my refuge. Why have you rejected me? Why do I walk about mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? BSB BSB: For You are the God of my refuge. Why have You rejected me? Why must I walk in sorrow because of the enemy’s oppression?
ULT Send out your light and your faithfulness, them, let them lead me. Let them bring me to the mountain of your holiness and to your dwellings. BSB BSB: Send out Your light and Your truth; let them lead me. Let them bring me to Your holy mountain and to the place where You dwell.
ULT Let me come to the altar of God, to the God of the joy of my gladness. I will thank you with the lyre, God, my God. BSB BSB: Then I will go to the altar of God, to God, my greatest joy. I will praise You with the harp, O God, my God.
ULT Why have you bowed yourself down, my soul, and why are you clamoring within me? Wait for God, for I will again thank him, the salvation of my face and my God. BSB BSB: Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why the unease within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, my Savior and my God.
