1. God Is Our Refuge and Strength

   (2 Kings 18:13–16; 2 Chronicles 32:1–8)

2. 1ULTGod{ is} to us a refuge and strength, being found greatly a help in trouble.BSBBSB: For the choirmaster. Of the sons of Korah. According to Alamoth. A song. God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble.
3. 2ULTTherefore we will not fear in the changing of the earth and the shaking of the mountains into the heart of the seas,BSBBSB: Therefore we will not fear, though the earth is transformed and the mountains are toppled into the depths of the seas,
4. 3ULTshould its waters roar and foam, should the mountains quake at its swelling. SelahBSBBSB: though their waters roar and foam and the mountains quake in the surge. Selah
5. 4ULTA stream, its channels make the city of God rejoice, the holy{ place} of the dwellings of the Most High.BSBBSB: There is a river whose streams delight the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells.
6. 5ULTGod{ is} in the midst of her, she will not be shaken. God will help her at the turning of the morning.BSBBSB: God is within her; she will not be moved. God will help her when morning dawns.
7. 6ULTNations may roar; kingdoms may shake. He utters with his voice; the earth melts.BSBBSB: Nations rage, kingdoms crumble; the earth melts when He lifts His voice.
8. 7ULTYahweh of Armies{ is} with us; the God of Jacob{ is} a stronghold to us. SelahBSBBSB: The LORD of Hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah
9. 8ULTCome, see the works of Yahweh, who makes desolations on the earth,BSBBSB: Come, see the works of the LORD, who brings devastation upon the earth.
10. 9ULTmaking wars cease to the end of the earth. He shatters the bow and cuts the spear in pieces; he burns the wagons with fire.BSBBSB: He makes wars to cease throughout the earth; He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; He burns the shields in the fire.
11. 10ULT“Be still and know that I{ am} God. I will be high among the nations, I will be high on the earth.”BSBBSB: “Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted over the earth.”
