Sing to the LORD, All the Earth (1 Chronicles 16:23–36)
1 ULT Sing to Yahweh a new song; sing to Yahweh, all the earth. BSB BSB: Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth.
2 ULT Sing to Yahweh, bless his name; announce his salvation from day to day. BSB BSB: Sing to the LORD, bless His name; proclaim His salvation day after day.
3 ULT Recount his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all the peoples. BSB BSB: Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.
4 ULT For Yahweh is great and is to be praised greatly. He is to be feared above all gods. BSB BSB: For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods.
5 ULT For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but Yahweh made the heavens. BSB BSB: For all the gods of the nations are idols, but it is the LORD who made the heavens.
6 ULT Splendor and majesty{ are} to his face. Strength and beauty{ are} in his sanctuary. BSB BSB: Splendor and majesty are before Him; strength and beauty fill His sanctuary.
7 ULT Ascribe to Yahweh, clans of peoples, ascribe to Yahweh glory and strength. BSB BSB: Ascribe to the LORD, O families of the nations, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
8 ULT Give to Yahweh the glory of his name. Bring an offering and come into his courts. BSB BSB: Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name; bring an offering and enter His courts.
9 ULT Bow down to Yahweh in the splendor of holiness; tremble from his face, all the earth. BSB BSB: Worship the LORD in the splendor of His holiness; tremble before Him, all the earth.
10 ULT Say among the nations,“Yahweh reigns.” Indeed, the world is established; it cannot be shaken. He judges the peoples with evenness. BSB BSB: Declare among the nations: “The LORD reigns!” The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved; He will judge the peoples with equity.
11 ULT Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar and its fullness. BSB BSB: Let the heavens be glad and the earth rejoice; let the sea resound, and all that fills it.
12 ULT Let the fields rejoice and all that is in them. Then let all the trees in the forest shout for joy BSB BSB: Let the fields exult, and all that is in them. Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy
13 ULT to the face of Yahweh, for he is coming, for he is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness and the peoples with his faithfulness. BSB BSB: before the LORD, for He is coming—He is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in His faithfulness.
