5 ULT And the angel took the censer and filled it from the fire of the altar and threw{ it} onto the earth, and thunders and sounds and lightnings and an earthquake happened. BSB BSB: Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it to the earth; and there were peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.
The First Four Trumpets 6 ULT And the seven angels having the seven trumpets prepared themselves that they might trumpet. BSB BSB: And the seven angels with the seven trumpets prepared to sound them.
7 ULT And the first trumpeted, and hail happened, and fire, mixed with blood, and it was thrown onto the earth, and a third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up. BSB BSB: Then the first angel sounded his trumpet, and hail and fire mixed with blood were hurled down upon the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, along with a third of the trees and all the green grass.
8 ULT And the second angel trumpeted, and{ something} like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood, BSB BSB: Then the second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned to blood,
9 ULT and a third of the creatures having life in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed. BSB BSB: a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.
10 ULT And the third angel trumpeted, and a great star fell from the sky, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of waters. 11 ULT And the name of the star is called Wormwood. And a third of the waters became wormwood, and many of the men died from the waters that had been made bitter. BSB BSB: The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter like wormwood oil, and many people died from the bitter waters.
12 ULT And the fourth angel trumpeted, and a third of the sun was struck, and a third of the moon and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened, and the day, a third of it did not shine, and likewise the night. BSB BSB: Then the fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun and moon and stars were struck. A third of the stars were darkened, a third of the day was without light, and a third of the night as well.
13 ULT And I looked, and I heard an eagle flying in mid- heaven saying in a loud voice,“Woe, woe, woe, to the ones living on the earth from the remaining sounds of the trumpet of the three angels who are going to trumpet.” BSB BSB: And as I observed, I heard an eagle flying overhead, calling in a loud voice, “Woe! Woe! Woe to those who dwell on the earth, because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the remaining three angels!”
