I will thank Yahweh with my entire inner being every time that those who do what is right meet together. BSB BSB: Hallelujah! I will give thanks to the LORD with all my heart in the council of the upright and in the assembly.
2 UST The things that Yahweh does are wonderful! All those who delight in those things study them carefully. BSB BSB: Great are the works of the LORD; they are pondered by all who delight in them.
3 UST The things that he does show how wonderful and glorious he is, and that he is eternally righteous. BSB BSB: Splendid and majestic is His work; His righteousness endures forever.
4 UST He has done wonderful things that people will always remember; Yahweh always acts kindly and mercifully. BSB BSB: He has caused His wonders to be remembered; the LORD is gracious and compassionate.
5 UST He provides food for those who profoundly respect him; he never forgets the covenant that he made{ with our ancestors}. BSB BSB: He provides food for those who fear Him; He remembers His covenant forever.
6 UST By enabling his people to capture the lands that had belonged to other people groups, he showed to{ us,} his people, that he is very powerful. BSB BSB: He has shown His people the power of His works by giving them the inheritance of the nations.
7 UST He does everything fairly and in the right way, and we can trust that everything that he tells us to do is for our good. BSB BSB: The works of His hands are truth and justice; all His precepts are trustworthy.
8 UST We must obey his instructions forever; he created them in order to do what is best for us, and they are completely right. BSB BSB: They are upheld forever and ever, enacted in truth and uprightness.
9 UST He rescued us, his people,{ from being slaves in Egypt,} and he made a covenant{ with us} that will last forever. He is holy and awesome! BSB BSB: He has sent redemption to His people; He has ordained His covenant forever; holy and awesome is His name.
10 UST Having a profound respect for Yahweh is the way to become wise. All those who obey his instructions will come to understand why it is good to do them. We should praise him forever! BSB BSB: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow His precepts gain rich understanding. His praise endures forever!
